this is a good durable toy,however do not go by the reviews of the toys sold seperatly as these are different to those that come in this set. e.g the train and car in this set are not battery opperated,they basically are there just for your child to push along by hand,not battery operated or a friction toy. whereas the modles you buy seperate are battery powered. apart from this it' a great toy,my just turned 3 yr old loves it and happily plays with it...the only one she doesn't play with is the playground piece which does not really hold the figures provided very well, e.g if you out george on the roundabout and then oush it he falls off.
