OK, so I'm 37. But this has to be the best toy I have been given in the last ten years!! In recent years, my two young sons have had great toys given to them - Scalextric, Hornby, RC Cars and many others that they have as theirs - and many are great, but they are not mine - and none are as good as this!

My eldest (7) was given a similar 'Copter for Christmas, and has even beaten me to landing back on to on the "launch pad" (a biscuit tin - the tiny helicopter does not particularly like being launched from our carpet) that we have in the living room. However his 'Copter is to be returned as it is faulty, and I think I will get another of these on a different channel so we can fly at the same time.

We got this as a pressie for our dad, and although he did love it, it is NOT a durable plane. It's made of styrofoam and very cheaply put together. I wouldn't buy one of these products again for this price. It is way too expensive for the low quality.

I bought this thinking it was the original but it's not, it's the Alany version which by all accounts is a very poor knockoff. Fortunately I had read the above post so knew not to take it out of its box when it arrived - I returned it for a refund and have bought the original Interactive Toy Concepts version from a1gifts for close to £40. More expensive but its definitely worth it for the original. I am really shocked at Amazon, advertising one thing and then supplying an inferior knockoff!

Micro Scalextric - Transformers Set

I bought this smaller scale scalextric as some of the others are far more expensive. It was a popular xmas present for my son who is 9, and was also popular with his friends. Cars can frequently come off the track though, probably because kids tend to pull the trigger full on! Overall good fun. Comes with 2 transformer cars which are quite small and fidly.

Ive had this little beast for a few months now and im still not bored of it! I think this toy has great control because i find that most indoor rc heli's dont really tend to go foward but this heli goes like a bullet in any direction, foward, backwards left and right. I have crashed this heli into many trees and it fell from about 15 meters and it still works as it did on the first day i got it. Only problem with this toy is that the battery life is a bit short because a 30-35 min charge gives you around 8 mins flying time but thats enough for me, gives me a break from chasing birds. Overall it is well worth its money, it's deffinatly top of its cheap rival rc helis.

I think this toy has great control because i find that most indoor rc heli's dont really tend to go foward but this heli goes like a bullet in any direction, foward, backwards left and right. I have crashed this heli into many trees and it fell from about 15 meters and it still works as it did on the first day i got it.
