Don't get me wrong, this is a lot of fun and okay for the age ranges advertised. But it is isn't fast or zippy enough to appeal to younger kids (under 10s, I think).
At the moment, the price tag of £35 (down from £70 originally!) is spot on and makes this good value. It is programmable, but few are likely to experiment much with it, due to the clunky (ie. simple) interface on the controller. Most of the fun is to be had from the demos, direct manual control as well as the 'autonomous' mode; all via the basic and fairly robust controller.
The Roboquad itself does have limitations, even beyond some which I had forseen. It doesn't function optimally on soft surfaces (eg. carpet) and naturally will have similar problems ... Read More:

It is brilliant, I also cant have pets and it has kept my uni housemates amused! when 2 get together its so funny to see the moving/dancing and singing...I bought one after my 4 year old sister got one for her birthday, they are for all ages!
Got this as I've been through a couple of PicooZ-type heli-things, and then graduated to a 4-channel co-axial. So, this interested me, just to see it would actually fly. And it does, although you need a fair bit of space to use it indoors, and something this light will not cope with even a tiny breeze outside, so don't even bother trying. May have to take it in to work, in order to have a bit more room, but managed some circuits in a large room at home.
The looks of it, combined with the shrieking noise it makes when flying, make it ... well, not quite a 'bat out of hell', but certainly something different, and a little insane too, which I like!
Also comes with spare wings and small plastic discs, which can be stuck to the ... Read More:

Yoshi has finally jumped out of the cartridges and the disks in the Video-Game World and has strapped himself in a cart of his own. You are given the controller and now you can take Yoshi wherever you go!
The Yoshi Go-Kart is a Remote Control racing kart, which allows the user to take Yoshi at top speed around their home, office, work environment and even competitions outside the Nintendo Video-Gaming World. There are 3 types of these Karts available. A Mario, a Donkey Kong and a Yoshi Kart. Obviously I own a Yoshi Kart, he goes at 44htz, which is faster than Mario, as my brother owns a Mario Go-Kart, and I won against him in a few remote control races!
My Grade For Yoshi: 8.5/10: Excellent, Wonderful, Good One
What can you say about a £60 (now £49) 4 channel RC helicopter. To be honest I wasn't expecting too much but once I had opened the box and found 8 (yes eight) AA batteries for the controller (not included) I was a convert.
It is very easy to setup and get to grips with. Bare in mind though that this is a decent sized powerful helicopter with exposed blades. This is not a kids toy. It is very well balanced and easily trimmed with the controller. The flight time is very good - easily out stripping the smaller 2-3 Channel foam based helicopters you can buy for up to £30.
If you are considering an intermediate level indoor (larger areas required to get the most out of the helicopter's speed) then don't buy the cheap foam choppers ... Read More:
