WE HAVE AN OLD TOMY WALKABOUT DIGITAL THAT HAS JUST STARTED TO PLAY UP, WELL IT HAS BEEN IN CONSTANT USE FOR 5 YEARS, AND IT NEEDS A SQUEEZE TO CORRECT IT, WELL NOW WE HAVE OUR 3RD BABY WE DECIDED TO PURCHASE WHAT WE THOUGHT WOULD BE A MORE ADVANCED MODEL - NOT THE CASE. THE CONCEPT OF THE TALK BACK FACILITY WAS GREAT BUT THE CONSTANT INTERFERENCE ON IT WAS UNBEARABLE, WE CHANGED THE SETTINGS ON IT SO WE DIDNT HAVE IT ON SUCH A SENSITIVE SETTING BUT THEN THE TALKBACK FACILITY DIDNT PICK UP CLEARLY WHAT WAS BEING SAID. WE NEEDED IT ON SENSITIVE AS WE HAVE A 2 1/2 YEAR OLD WHO FALLS OUT OF BED AND OBVIOUSLY NEEDED TO HEAR THE BUMP! Body Clock Elle TENS obstetric TENS unit

Highly recommend this machine to all those non-believers, its all I used throughout my labour and birth.
No gas and air or pethidine, totally relaxed me and controlled my pain,even the midwifes were amazed and wondering if the tens machines work.. trying to force gas and air down my neck (no way no way it makes you puke and id feel a hell of worse then!)
One of the pads came off during labour and landed on my partner-almost gave him an electric shock! Hee hee have some of that ya sod!!
My son came out very healthy and not doped up - 9/10 apcap score
Well worth the money

The toys are bright and colourful. The music is not as good as it might be but i feel the mobile is busy and there are plenty of things to keep baby occupied

Being a grandparent, I am finding my own house filled with baby gear but this is great for the bottom of the stairs and for doorways. Once I got the hang of it I can convert it to fit different openings quite easily, though the red ring, yellow ring thing is not easy to understand... and when grandbaby has gone home I can easily store it under the stairs.

I bought this for my ten week old baby girl whilst she was sleeping in her moses basket and couldn't have a cot mobile. It's very basic but very cute - it glows a subtle pink colour, has a lovely soothing lullaby that plays for 5 or 10 minutes and a teddy-bear light show that projects onto the ceiling. I turn it on as part of my daughters sleep routine and really works well.

If you are a mum (or dad) that will sit downstairs with the monitor on and when it's all quiet wonder if your baby is ok and sneak upstairs to check - then this monitor is for you! the green tick is very reassuring and means that you aren't tempted to poke your head round the baby's door, waking them up, just to check they are ok.

there are some problems that you have to put up with however. It is sometimes hard to find a channel for the portable unit and this means that you have to go back into the baby's room and fiddle around. I've found turning both units off then on can help with this. Also the alarm sounds whenever you pick up the baby and it's difficult to always remember to turn it off.
