Oh how sad it was. We were all excited watching the little things apparently waiting to be born - then nothing! I think we cooked them in the sun - so beware do not overheat.
Now I will never know what they look like - and my grandson is terribly disappointed - but I guess thats life (or not in this case!)
This toy was bought for my 6 yr old son. The idea behind the 'dig for hidden treasure' is good, but the 'brick' which encases the treasure is SO hard, it took my son, his friend and myself to smash away at it. We started on Christmas day, by pretending we were expert archaeologists, delicately chipping away at the brick, but after about an hour of nothing but red dust all over the kitchen we took the toy outside and started hammering furiously. The toy hammer provided was far too small to do much damage and the tiny paint brush (for brushing away the dust) was completely useless. (Beware, as the amount of dust produced is considerable.)
