These Street Gliders are well made and durable, easy to put on/take off. However...they are pretty hard to get to grips with; my 5 year old doesn't stand a chance and my 8 year old hasn't managed to master them either. Both can manage to have a reasonably fun time on inline skates/skateboards.
I had a go myself; it is NOT easy.

So I wouldn't recommend them really; I think standard inline skates would be a much better buy overall as these Street Gliders will be discarded once the child gives up trying to use them.
