As another piece of the Thomas series, bought for our son for Christma, this is by far the worst buy! It is so flimsy and little hands and feet constantly knock it, making it fall apart. Believe me it doesnt take much knocking! Save the £15, and buy something else- Harold is great!

We bought this for our 2.5 year old daughter because she is mad about Thomas. We found it great on many levels: it comes with Thomas, Percy, James, Spencer and Diesel; the idea of sending the engines whizzing down the winding mountain was great fun for all the family; it is compact, so doesn't take over the sitting room floor and fits easily in the car for transportation to Granny & Grandad's house, making visits a lot less boring! She loves it and it keeps her occupied for hours, both as a playset and by finding new and exciting adventures for the engines away from the mountain. LEGO City 7898: Cargo Train Deluxe

We bought this for our 5 (nearly 6) year old son for Christmas as he is a fan of both Lego and trains but it has far exceeded all our expectations. There are a few different coaches and trucks which enabled him (very patiently and with a little help) to build each one up. Imagine, then, the joy when the train was complete and could be moved around the track with the remote control!! I know that only a few days have elapsed since Christmas but this item has already brought so much fun and I'm sure will continue to do so - and it is educational too, as it requires a lot of patience, concentration and application to put it together. Expensive, perhaps, but well worth the money to see the smile on a little boy's face!!
