The problem of this truck is that the rear panel rapidly (and I mean it: less than a day) doesn't stay vertical, which really annoys my little boy. So I am oblige to stuck it with something (tape, match, etc...), which is neither very secure nor very handy. A pity as you get 3 little vehicles in one box to play with, and the truck looks very cool.

BRIO 33357 Wooden Railway System: Lifting Bridge

A nice addition to the Brio set we'd just bought for our daughter (nearly three). She likes to wind the handle to make the bridge go up and down and likes the little gates at either side too. A nice touch is that the handle's been designed to be held and turned by small hands.

The one caveat is that you need a special piece of track from Brio to allow track to go under the bridge rather than just over it. It's difficult to find and without it, the bridge doesn't have as much appeal.

This toy is superb quality, very strong, brightly coloured and with the addition of some more vehicles, provided two little boys with hours of fun on the first day. I did hesitate before spending so much, but I'm so glad I did now.

Tomy Thomas & Friends Pop 'n' Catch

I bought this for my two year old god son as a Christmas present. He actually got a second, and larger Thomas the Tank engine gift which made a lot of noises and flashed different colours but he kept going to this one because he had a task to perform (catch the ball) and enjoyed the attention of the adults as he got better.

I would say it is suitable for two to four year olds.
