This doll is a hit with my 4 year old girl! The eyes close (magnetically) when the magic dummy is inserted, so the baby falls asleep - she loves this! The doll has no batteries, which is great for me, and it means the baby can go in the bath, which most dolls can't because they either have a soft body or electronics.

The drinking and wetting works well once you get the hang of directing the bottle to fill the chamber you want (for crying or weeing). Feeding solids is a bit disappointing, as the food has to be made so runny to make it flow through the doll, that it just looks like wee. We only did it once.

Zapf Creation Baby Annabell Version 4 I bought this when it was half price at Amazon. It's definitely not worth the full RRP price but at £15 it's good value. The wardrobe is made from cardboard and fabric and can be folded flat so it's not as durable as the wooden one. Although it is quite well made and good quality (as to be expected by Zapf Creation products) I have found that it sometimes collapses by itself as it is only held together by the cardboard and metal poppers. It has one giant zip which goes around the whole the wardrobe (like a suitcase) and also has a plastic flip cover which can be rolled up and held in place by Velcro for easy access to the wardrobe.
