I must say, i luv this game. The way pikachu **THE BEST POKÉMON EVER** follows u and is clear for all to see, the start of the game is a major mick take. A lightning pokémon, against a rock gym .... Even if u learn to use tackle etc. u get pwned by his force and if u want to beat Brock ur gunna have to train a mutha futha'ing Pidgey or summin ... it kicks u in the nags b4 uve even got started and u jst rly wanna get going and u have to waste time lvl'ing a stupid rat or sparrow. All i wanna do is make pikachu the uber greatest and get him thru to the end but i no i cant cos i g2 make my pidgey great first. Saying that .. i luv this game and when ur past the first boss its a peice of poop.

If you can't be bothered raising your pokemon up to level 100 well here is the easy way{if you want to} Get any item from your back pack, like a {Rare Candy} put it at the 6th or 7th{sorry a can't remember} place down from the top of your back pack,Go to viridan city, talk to the guy who tells how to catch pokemon{The old man}. You have to be very quick, fly to blane's island surf near the coast of the gym up and down, etc, Then you will find a missingoo and Lv.1-180 it depends, kill it look in your pack and you will have a rare candy and a wierd smybol next to it. You can do it with anything like {Master ball} very good if you want to catch very pokemon,Others Nuggets,Revives,MaxRevives,Ether,.And the best part is you don't have to beat the elite ... Pokémon Blue

Its hard to believe looking back, that this game caused so much of a stir in the playground. Pokemon Red and Blue where a big deal during the mid 90's, and it was the game that really absored kids into a great adventure.
The layout of the game itself is simple, which I guess helped the popularity. But it was more of the objective that took sold the game - you had to become the 'best' pokemon trainer, and this could be done by winning lots and lots fights with other trainers.
I won't even go into what 'Pokemon' are (japanese for Pocket Monsters - hence they are kept in Pokeballs...) but to make it simple, their just creatures that are trained up and used for fighting other Pokemon. On your travels, you can catch Pokemon by using Pokeballs ... Read More:

Now come on...it's unlikely that you've never heard of Pokemon if you're reading this. And you should all know that this version has 251 pokemon which you need to capture.

You start off as a basic pokemon trainer, as you raise and capture more pokemon you're party grows stronger and evolves as you attempt to become the Pokemon master by beating all the gym leaders and the elite four and finally ??? (I won't spoil it for you).

Basically it's an addictive RPG that involves you raising and capturing pokemon...do you really need a long and in depth review for something so basically addictive. Just buy it.

Nintendo 64 Console - Grey

The Nintendo 64 was the first console I bought with my own money (I'm talking about 1998). I still remember saving up loads of pocket money for this, and only managing to buy the console which came with one remote (those awesome remotes!) and no game. The first time I saw the N64 was at a friend's house, he had imported it from the USA. Just the shape of it gave me goose-bumps! The fact it had 4 ports for remotes allowing 4 people to play simultaneously was the most attractive aspect of it, until I saw the graphics on Mario Kart 64! We played for hours, non-stop, and I yearned for the console to be on sale in Europe so I could get my hands on one. My first game was FIFA 64. Legendary. I do not want to think of how many hours I spent exploring games on the N64, ... Read More:

Black Controller 64

When I got my Nintendo 64 for Christmas in 2000, it was packed with 2 free Gold Controllers, but I also had a Blue Nintendo 64 Controller boxed! Now oddly enough, even though Gold is shiny, bright, sparkling and the controller everybody wanted, I was using the Blue Controller more frequently than any other controller (it is actually more used than the other controllers).

But it wasn't until August 2004, when I got hold of the Black Nintendo 64 Controller, and to tell you the truth, among all 4 controllers, there is no difference whatsoever! So you can have the same joy with those 4-Player games such as Mario Kart 64, Mario Party 2, Super Smash Bros etc!

But like I said about the Blue Controller in a separate review, I do find the Nintendo 64 controller ... Read More:

Pokémon has stepprd into the Johto area. The game is basically has the same goals as all the other pokémon games, catch 'em all. However, this version is slightly different to Gold/Silver. It has moving pokémon, see a wild pokémon, it moves. I would totally recommend this game to anyone with an interest in pokémon as you can explore Johto AND Kanto. Plenty to keep you busy. Not to be missed. It gets the official Dr. Wolves stamp of approval. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

In 2008, this is perhaps the most random review ever.. The N64 controller. But hell, i'm bored! As with anything N64 related, its too easy to get carried away back to those teen memories in the nineties, so I find myself bullet-pointing the most important parts...

Positives:

- The ergonomic design; no controller has ever been designed like this.
- The analog stick is perfectly placed, allowing real precision because it's right under your thumb, and you don't need to stretch for it.
- The Z button was also right under the analog stick section, allowing for better control.
- Nice innovation with the 'C' button section; a seclusion of small, yellow buttons that usually account for settings during gameplay, or camera angles.
- Cool range ... Read More:

Sega Dreamcast Console

The Sega Dreamcast was dropped right onto a rickety bridge from the moment it was released. Sega were in debt and losing money, and Sony were planning the PS2, which after years of typical set-backs, was released 2 Years later. But, for a just short time between 1999 and 2002, their was indeed a period where the Dreamcast had it's tight followers, which shamefully, wasn't for long enough.

1999. Ahh... those numbers spell lots of ££££, and for the first time in the history of commercialism, companies were making record numbers of them because of this new number... '2000'. And so what fitting year for a revolution to come about than the year before Millennium x 2? I can clearly remember the awe that surrounded the Dreamcast; such was it's excitement that I remember a feature ... Read More:
