hurrah! a way to play the classic snes game on the move. the people that have given it one star are probably too young to remember how great games were before fancy graphics and silly controllers. its all about the gameplay kids... and this is the game to play.

I was fortunate enough to play this on the nes as my brother had one. I remember being with my sister and brother in the parlour late at night, being glued and trying to complete the game in one go. I also remember being annoyed when i had to keep blowing in the nes and game to make it work for 20 minutes at a time. Finally, there is a god and it had been brought out on GBA. I must have played this game at least 100 times when i was younger and just discovered it on gba. I loved the colours and graphics and the music of the nes and still remember it like i was playing it now. I can not wait to get this game (i paid £20 for it but hopefully it will be worth it, going by my old memories and reviews!) and hope it will come soon. Game recently did ... Read More:

wow! this is a pretty impressive game and kids will love it! i only played on this game once as it belonged to the person i baby sit for (aged 8) but i thought it was well thought out. basically u play as nemo and have lots of adventures. you swim through stars and bubbles put there for you to collect and have to dodge the spikey fish and other dangerous things and if touch them then you lose a life (get 5 altogether). there are special plants that will restore your lives when u brush against them. also by using the letter B on your gameboy you have to carry a pearl to the oyster n drop it in its mouth so it then closes and you can get past it. age recommendations would be a child aged between 5-12 as its fairly easy and with more time quickly ... This game is not very fun. The levels are difficult and the character slips around a lot. I like to play against the bosses.
There is also the classic Mario game, which will trigger tears of nostalgia for 20-somethings, but is boring for me! Basically, the gameplay is this:
Go to level one. Play a boss. Go to level two. Play a boss.
And then this:
Whack the characters. Play again.
Wouldn't recommend.

This was the first game I bought with my GBA. It is the most repetitive game I have ever played. You'd probably never finish it because you'd have died of boredom before you got half way through.
The graphics are reasonable for an early GBA game but that doesn't make up for the game itself. On each level you do exactly the same thing you did on the last level, mainly walking around looking for map pieces and avoiding the yellow-suited guys who knock your health down slightly if you bump into them. Not hard to complete the levels considering you can see where you're supposed to be going on the map.

Only bought this game because it was going so cheap but was pleasantly surprised. The game sees you autograph hunting for your best bud Patrick star. Autograph hunting ain't that easy though as the superheroes have increasingly zany tasks to complete before they'll sign. Could be a little longer but overall a solid game.
This game is one of the best GBA games I have ever played! There's just so much action it's hard to take in! The levals are not to easy and not to hard, just perfect! I recently played Crash on my Playstation and then when I found out that I could also play crash on my Gameboy, I was over the moon! I had previously thought that this version of crash wouldn't match up to the playstation version but I was so surprised! All I can really say is GO OUT AND BUY THIS GAME!!!

By now the name 'Mario can only echo to the world mushrooms, evil turtles and 'flower power'. Oh yeah and of course, the greatest video game character of all time. Yoshi's Island is an excellent game, and the spirit of challenge and fun runs throughout from the start to the all-mighty finish! Oh, and considering the main character IS NOT MARIO but his trustworthy friend and pseudo-babysitter Yoshi; gamers can expect an experience that's just a little bit different.
The story has been given a little bit more thought than the previous Mario games: that is the 'rescue the princess/ defeat King Koopa' template. With Yoshi's Island we are introduced to a delightful fable - the evil Koopa wizard Kamek kidnaps one of two babies carried by a stork on a ... Read More:

The graphics for this game are better than on the PS1, and really show off the screen on my GB Micro.
As with all Rayman games this is really good to play, with easy levels at the beginning and some right stinkers as you get further.
Brilliant.
