To start with, the graphics of this game are good, sometimes they are a bit poor in places but the gameplay & game sounds are perfect. The Gameplay is very fast and you start off the game by being the chaser, as you progress through the game you start unlocking special abilities and you eventually become a beater etc etc.... When you jump into the game you are given the chance to choose the house you wish to play as. The more houses you play as, the more cards you get. Of course getting those little cards helps improve your chances of unlocking the best stuff
Buy it!!!! A very fun game, the only problem I had was loosing it on the train and now I need to buy another.

The graphics in this game are very good - and the animation of the skaters is so good they look positively human in their movements (in fact I'm sure the original graphics must have been drawn around actual footage of real figures - no animator can capture human movement this well).
I want to like this game - I *really* do. But the problem is that I can't. It takes so long to learn how to do all the tricks and moves, and then to try and remember them, unless you've got all the spare time in the world to burn, the techniques just take too long to learn. It isn't something that you can pick up in 5 minutes each day either - you need to spend long sessions training.
I just don't have the time for this, and is it worth the ... Read More:

When I bought this game I couldn't wait to play put it in my GBA & play it. At first I thought it rubbish, but then I read the instructions & it became simple.The graphics aren't too bad and The buttons are a bit unresponsive but you get used to them. It has a good choice of wrestlers from The Rock to Stone Cold Steve Austin. I would recommend it too any WWF fan but not if you're not.

Mario Golf:Advance Tour is a remake form the Gameboy version and this is really good.When you start the game you choose if you want to be a girl or a boy and right handed or left.Then you get to play the golf.I was really anoyed with it to start with because its really hard learning golf just like that.But then i learnt the Technical shot and now i always get a Birdie or better.There are four different clubs(not golf clubs)Marion,Palms,Dunes ,Links and all of these courses get harder in the order i put them.The Marion tourney has hardly any wind and lots of fairway,which is good.The Palms has a little wind and lots of palms cos its near the beach,the Dunes has lots of cacti and strong winds.But the Links has very strong winds, health which is really thick ... I'm confused... The awkward controls on this game, along with its sluggish speed mean that casual wrestling fans who only want to pick this up and play the odd game here and there will get frustrated really quickly, whereas the limited moves and charaters available will mean that wrestling fans who would spend the time getting to know a game with these shortcomings get no reward (unlike with the excellent Fire Pro Wrestling). There is no enjoyable create a wrestler function and the game as a whole seems very linear. A shame as I have played Fire Pro to death and there seems to be no sequel to that coming very soon.

Activision have once again produced a spectacular skating game for the Game Boy Advance. The third installment in the series boast many new features, the best being the new 4 player multiplayer link that allows you to play against your mates. Another new feature is the create a skater option that was originally introduced on the PSOne version of Tony Hawk 2. THPS3 has 13 skateboarding pros accessable plus the create a skater. The game has 6 huge levels some of which users of the PlayStaion 2 version will have seen before. Overall this game is a great GBA game and is a must for any sport fan who owns a GBA. I strongly recomend it. Period.

I bought this and a GBA at the airport before going skiing in France. That meant I was stuck with it for a week! The game is ok but it harks back to the days of the Amiga and C64 where there are set ways to score and little variation. I eventually got good enough to beat Peru though which was good.
I was disappointed with the limited options and the fact there are no replays for the goals. Make sure you take penalties - I'm not sure they knew what penalties were when they designed this game!

Anyone who's played the Tony Hawk games on the PlayStation must look at the titchy GBA cartridges and think "What?!?!? How could they possibly expect to put Tony Hawk in that?!?"
But the truth is that the Tony Hawk games on the GBA are the best conversions from full size consoles that have been done. The developers, rather than try and duplicate the full-size games and make a mess of it have looked at the capabilities of of the GBA and scaled down but without sacrificing the great gameplay. Yes, it's not in "true" 3-D and yes, the levels are trimmed but the tricks are there as is the all-important addiction factor that marks a great game. I don't skate in real life but Tony Hawk 4 is one of the best games, if not the best, around for the GBA.

I'm a huge basketball fan and loved the original NBA Jam games and almost ran to the shop to buy this. Bad move. It is so heart-breakingly awful it really does defy belief. The front end looks very swish but when you get to the actual game you will kick yourself for wasting 30 quid. I'll summarise in bullet form a few of the main faults;
* The outcome of shooting is pretty random - the CPU makes you release the ball when it wants and it's easier to shoot from halfcourt than to go for a lay-in. Hmmm. * The 'commentary' doesn't even match up with the action 90% of the time, and if I hear "nicely received" one more time I might smash my GBA with half a brick. * Bad collision detection can have two players trapped on each other with the ball between them, yet ...
