I have never been a video game player, even though my younger brother had every video game console from the Sega Mega Drive, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Atari Lynxx, GameBoy, Play Station and many others etc etc etc... plus every game you can imagine. I tried Sonic the Hedgehog and after about three minutes of pure frustration with some stupid control pad with too many coloured buttons on, I left never to return.

So when he showed me his latest purchase of a DS Lite I edged away cautiously, until I saw the Brain Training in play, within minutes I had gone online and bought my own and have never looked back since. This item is great when i first got it.It had all the cheats i wanted and loads more but i was just unlucky when it stopped working after bout an hours use.I then asked for a replacement by amazon which works fine.You should buy this definately if ur a pokemon fan i was just unlucky.

I don't do games. It's as simple as that. I can't be fussed with all the controls and if I do try to learn them, I'm rubbish at the games when I do figure them out. However, the DS Lite has changed all that. I bought it on a whim as I'm going to be spending a lot of time travelling soon, so I thought it would help with the boredom. I opened the box, set it up (without even reading the instructions!!!!) and have hardly put it down since! I mainly play the Brain Training (because I'm ancient), but have Super Mario Olympics too, and have even won some races - amazing...
No matter your age, ability, interests etc. Buy one of these. You won't regret it. It's compact, blissfully easy to use, and above all FUN! Go on. treat yourself.

This is a fun handheld games console but is very fragile the games are quite expensive but the console it's self is a brilliant price.

This new colour is a fabulous bright, shiny red and looks great. Was worried the colour may be a bit orangey or pinkish but it's not at all. It looks sleek, glossy and cool.

This is easy to use, light to carry and the fully charged battery lasts for around 16 hours when set on low screen brightness. The two screens are really handy as it saves flipping back and forth between modes as in some GBA games or adds extra elements in others. The touch screen is fun and adds an extra dimension to game-play over the gameboy advance.

I think this console is an excellent price for its money , i think that the colour is gorgous i would recommend it to anyone ! i have had no problems with it like other people with other ds lte consoles i think it is brilliant and fab colour to pick

I gave them to our kids along with their new nintendos at xmas and they have proved very useful already, esp the earphones and the game boxes. I'm sure the car chargers will be very handy too.
I love how they are colour co-ordinated, as my daughter is a lover of everything pink!

We owned an original Nintendo DS for two years - we bought it right when it released in December 2004. When I first saw the DS Lite at E3 in 2006, I was thrilled. The game great handheld unit design - but lighter! Brighter! Tuned! It really showed that Nintendo had been paying attention to customer feedback during those two years, and had tweaked its unit to be even better than before.

First, the weight. We always *loved* the design of the DS, with its folding top. As PSP owners, I can't tell you how many time that poor PSP screen gets dinged or scratched. We had to buy extra carrying cases for our PSP and get screen protectors. WELL THE CHARGER IS VERY QUICK AND TELLS U HOW LOW URS BATTERYS IS. WHICH IS GD ITS EASY TO SET UP AND QUICKLY CHARGES IT.
THE CARCHARGER DOES WORK IN UR CAR BUT FOR ME IT POINLESS COS IM THE DRIVER AND I CAN'T DRIVE AND PLAY ON MY DS. BUT IT USEFULL IF U GO TRIVLING FOR LONG TIME.
EARPHONES NOT BAD BUT THEY START HURTING UR EARS IF U HAVE THEM IN FOR A LONG TIME,
SCREEN PROTCORS DO NOT USE THEM ONLY USE LISENCE NINTENDO DS ONE COS ANY OTHER WRECK UR SCREEN.
THE CLEAN CLOTH IS GREAT FOR CLEANING UR SCREENS.
CASTS ARE VERY GOOD TO KEEP UR GAMES SAFE.
THE STLUS WORK WELL U GET A FEW OF THOSE AND THE CARRY CAST IS PRITTY STRONG.
SO OVER ALL IT A PRITTY GD KIT FOR UR DS.
