I found that the voice recognition worked well but had problams with it reconising my hand writing.

Maths isn't my stong point so i did loose interest in the training. Prefer the sight trainer.

I waited for 5 days after I got this game before I wrote my review so I was sure of all its components before I wrote the review. I don't want to dwell to much on negative points as other reviewers have mentioned the same but you may only read one review and its important. Firstly only one person can use this game as it can only store data for one person. Secondly its not developed for the UK market too many American terms , especially irritating when you are doing the quizzes and listing your food. Now for the positive, as a foot note I am totally into any gadgets to do with exercise, I have worn a pedometer for years, have a heart rate monitor and have also recently purchased a wii fit. Other reviews can tell you about all the features in this game, so I'll try to keep it short.

The training programs are more varied and enjoyable than the previous game's. Some of the challenges include unscrambling words, remembering numbers and even playing a musical piece. However, I did find a couple of the games tedious. There are also again plenty of free or assisted Sudoku puzzles and a hidden mini-game which is quite addictive.

One of the big irritations from the previous game remains - poor handwriting recognition. As well as numbers, you will have to write symbols and letters, which the game may often fail to understand! Voice recognition is also a bit unreliable on the Rock, Paper, Scissors game.

My mum got this game and I had a bit of a play on it. I have to say I will be getting myself a copy very soon. It's addicitve, entertaining and for a DS game has good graphics. The music is nice to listen to as well. A well deserved five stars.

Now I've been playing Mario Kart since it started way back on the SNES!
I have all versions of this Mario Kart over numerous Nintendo Consoles!
This game is definitely be the top my favourite Mario Kart games in the series! I have also purchased Mario Kart Wii which is also a brilliant game. The DS version was really the beta for on-line racing on Nintendo console. However compared to the Wii offering of on-line options Mario Kart DS is very limited, however this is to be expected as this was the first on-line DS game! The DS version has excellent controls and memorable tracks (I love Rainbow Road!).

I'm a great fan of Scrabble and am enjoying this version; however I do agree that having to play the mini games to add more characters is irritating and some of the words are so strange that I've wondered if my DS has gone wrong!

this game is one of the best games i have got!! i have completed the whole thing! there is eight world to complete but you can skip two of them without any cheats! there is also lots of minigame to do with are very good. you can also connect against eachother on the minigames and the normal game which is a great idea! a great buy get it!!!! ***** star!

This game is one of the best for the DS and is addictive. Although cooking is a strange concept for a game it is a lot of fun. The main part is cooking different dishes for "Mama" who then gives you a score depending on how well you did. Cooking the different recipes unlocks new ones and so forth. Another fun part is cooking for friends but be aware as Mama is not helping you cannot screw up. A lot of the controls and actions are similar to the first game so if you didn't like that one this is not for you. A really great addition to this game is more western dishes like ice-cream and cakes etc but some old favourites like Oden are back. 10/10
