We all know the Japanese to be a bunch of folks that enjoy strange TV programs such as Endurance, Takeshi's Castle (and probably nearly every other Japanese program :-)). We all know the French to be a bunch that like looking at odd Artworks. Well here is an example of what happens when the French and Japanese decide to make a game together. Extremely strange 2D art combine with extremely weird yet compelling and strangely addictive gameplay. Ignore the 1 star reviews try the demo and if you like the demo you'll love this game. However it appears that it might be a Marmite game, i.e. you're either going to love it or hate it. Most people however seem to love it.

I've lost count of the number of times i've played through this game. For me at least i find it has great replayability as you try to complete each level without loosing any squad members etc.It suits the PSP perfectly as it is turn based so can be picked up and played easily without wearing your left thumb to the bone Also as i own several consoles and have found mostly crap on the PSP I was delighted with this game. Great atmosphere and unit moddeling. The very short cutscenes between levels are exceptionnaly well rendered and you can tell alot of effort and care was put into making it. Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception (PSP)

This surely deserves a 5/5 simply for the lack of other flying games on the PSP, but also in it's own right. I played Ace Combat games on the PS years ago, and this didn't fail to meet up to my high expectations. Sure there are a few annoying things about it, but overall it is simply supreb! The controls are a sinch to master fairly quickly, and the graphics are more than decent all the way, with next to no slow down - except where there are dozens of ground targets all huddled together (but then that can be a blessing in disguise). I'm not one to be fussed about the story-line (I just want the instant flying-action gratification I guess), but even that is ok, and it excels in the fact that you can choose different mission paths to victory. Ok well basically I will go through the bad points first:
1.) The loading times take forever and my sim died because it took so long to get it out of bed!
2.) You cannot have babies, pets, marriages ect this game is about completing missions and building friendships
3.) The sound effects don't match up with the pictures, does this happen to anyone else ?
4.) The tunes are really boring and you definetly won't be humming them because they are so not addictive
5.) It is nothing like the PC Version

These are the good points:
1.) If you are bored of the whole Job, Family, Kids aspect of The Sims 2 then this is cool.

This game has many pros, but also some cons and its difficult to explain all of them. But the main disappointment of this game is that i did get bored of it after the first 2 weeks of having it, and this is why - it is a bit slow. Changing from one area of the island to another is frustrating because it takes so long, and you have to go in the jungle alot to collect things. Also, mine did freeze once and i had to quit and loose everything!
However, and please do read on - there is no other game out there like this. I watch Shipwrecked and then play this and it is even more realistic than the show itself! It is also easier to play your sims - they dont get tired too quickly, and their needs are generally easier to fulfill than in the normal sims. Its also fun building houses, ... Read More:

Worms Open Warfare 2 (PSP)

I bought this game and wasn't sure if it was going to be that good. I played most other worms games and they have all been excellent but this is the first one I have ever bought for the psp and wasn't sure how much they could do with it. Other psp games such as Pro Evolution Soccer 5 were severely restricted on psp compared with the console versions for ps2 etc. However within 10 minutes of playing you notice how this is classic worms with exciting added weapons and a well structured campaign and so many ways you can customize your own team of 4 worms. Accents, hats, gravestones, worm names you can create,edit and enjoy to your content. Puzzles add a variation to the game for those who like a challenge. Buy this game if your a worms fan with a psp and you will find worms lives as strong ... Read More:

Championship Manager 2007 (PSP)

Mind you i've only bought this game 4 hours ago but i've been playing it non-stop since then.

As the previous review stated, the menus have changed and the match games and loading times are quite a bit slower but the main reason for that seems because there's just so much more of the game than previous versions.

You now have oppertunities to hire new assistant managers and coaches, and there are ways of becoming involved on an international level too.

The game itself now has a 3d match engine and you're able to communicate with the entire team and individual players throughout a match.

Overall this game is a vast improvement on the previous versions. Even if it is a bit slower. But who on their right mind would start a game anyway if they ... Read More:

About this game I have to say that this is a good work. I like on it the good graphics and that it leaves you in suspence.I like to be in a world of imagination and to travel in the time.When you play this game you have the pleasure inside you and when you end this game you say "Why it is over,I want to play it again." I think that this game is one of the best games for PSP.
