Well, as you can see in the other reviews, there are quite a few negative issues that some people have with this game. However, I love this game. I've nearly finished, and when I do, I'm going to play it again. To me, thats the mark of an excellent game.

This is not a turn based, strategic battle system affair like its parent game, but rather an action based game. I love the hacky-slashy combat - which to me seems perfect for an impulsive "leap before you look" type like Zack. The battle is complicated by the DMW (Digital Mind Wave), a slot wheel that spins to dole out bonuses. This is presumably meant to represent Zack's SOLDIER enhancements, as it releases limit breaks, levels him up, and deals out random smaller bonuses. Personally, ... Read More:

Monster Hunter Freedom 2 (PSP)

MHF2 is an outstanding game. I would recommend it to anybody. There are Hundreds of monsters to kill > carve / capture; weapons / armours to create and improve; Quests to complete on your own or with friends. You can play this game for hundreds of hours and never get bored of it, it is that good.

I have never played any of the Final Fantasy games so when I bought a PSP I decided it was time to at least try one. I have found the game to be addictive and easy to play. The graphics are clear, and easy to see on the small screen. The only real drawback is the lack of engaging storyline to drive you forward. The world is quite large and as you move round you find small elements of plot but these are very small and don't help that much.

For the price and ease of game play this is a must buy as it can provide a little distraction whilst waiting for something else, but I don't find it engages my attention for much more than half an hour at a time.

The Breath of Fire games have always been my favourite playstation games, as most of the more powerful rpg's are for the computer (eg. baldurs gate + neverwinter nights). Though I have yet to experience Breath of Fire I and II. Breath of Fire III is easily the most enjoyable playstation game I have ever played. Though I would prefer this game was famous because of it's original release and not because it is just another game for the psp, I will gladly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys fantasy and rpg. Anyone can enjoy the flexibility of the characters. I would say the only improvement that could be made on the Breath of Fire series is more versitility. Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles (PSP)

Castlevania: DXC is a game which hates its players with a passion. The difficulty curve could take down a 747, some of the monsters are just designed to screw you over with no mercy, you're sent way back to the start of the level if you run out of continues on any of the vast array of near-impossible bosses and to top it all off you have to UNLOCK Symphony of the Night. Advertising something on the back of the box and then secret having you unlock it via a secret level just isn't a good way to win your players over.

On the bright side, DXC doesn't suffer from the plague of re-used graphics which the DS games do, also the artwork doesn't look as if it was drawn by a 12-year old (more than you can say for Dawn of Sorrow).

About this game I have to say that this is a good work. I like on it the good graphics and that it leaves you in suspence.I like to be in a world of imagination and to travel in the time.When you play this game you have the pleasure inside you and when you end this game you say "Why it is over,I want to play it again." I think that this game is one of the best games for PSP.

Possibly one of the most striking titles available for the PSP, 'Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth' is a fascinating game for the more serious gamer. Not for action fans, this is an immeasurably detailed experience and you have to endure a good hour of cut scenes before getting involved yourself. But the battle system is easy to pick up and there is plenty for the old grey matter to chew over during play.

The premise of the game is to reap fallen souls for the on-going battle against the Vanir in Misgard and train them in combat. To do this, you must enter the dungeons and clear them of adversaries, completing tasks as you go. Hi,
The reasons for buying this game are:
*You can train/care for yor very own pets(Dog or Cat)
*There is some nice clothing/accesories for your Sims and Pets)
*You can take your Pets to the park so you can meet new people.
*Your "Needs" I have found don't go down as much as they do on the other sims games.
*There are some shops that sell cool things for your pets.

The reasons too not buy this game are:
*The loading times are kind of slow.
*You cannot have children or get married.
*It gets slightly oring after a while.
*Pets don't really cause that much damage, only a little bit.
*It is easy to train pets and nothing is that challenging.

Firstly, i think that playing online against other people around the world is cool!! the aim of the game is to become the most feared pirate in the 16th century!! there are many different ways to succeed, the best way is probably to kill the other pirates, finding long lost relatives, buried treasure and taking over all of the islands. this is a great adventure game for those who have time for it, "Yerr think yerr can beat me, Jacob (rank 1st), yep, im the only 1 to be inducted into the hall of fame. :P
