As demonstrated on the last gadget show, there is no point whatsoever in buying an expensive hdmi cable,so if you want HD for your HD telly and are gonna connect it to a PS3 or any other HDMI source, it really doesnt matter which you use as all it does is send O's and 1's digitally. so you either get the picture or not, they are allgoing to be the same quality whichever cable you buy.
If this works when you get it and you have payed the minimal amount possible,then i reckon it's a good purchase for your PS3.
Personally, when I bought my PS3 from currys last year, I asked them to throw me one in FOC, and they did cos I bought my telly from there too, which was good, the cable was priced at £10, so not bad for nowt. In summary though, ... Read More:

Great item super fast deliver, If you use your PS3 for blu ray this is a must,some one put in their reveiw its not straight out of the box controller you need to set up the bluetooth,Not a problem its easy the same as any other bluetooth device,Hello!!

Sony's law Suit with Immersion has cost them a lot, in more ways than one. This pad is basically a PS1 pad, which was designed in 1994. Technically, it's more responsive, and has much deeper L2/R2 buttons but the loss of the rumble feature makes it feel like you're back in the dark ages. I've yet to play a game which puts the six-axis function to good use. It feels cheap (which the PS2's didn't) very light, and the charging cable is a disgusting 3 feet long! What use is that if the PS3 sits in your living room 8 feet away? Also, even when connected via USB, you still have to activate the pad, why?

Like everything else for my PS3, this seems like an 'almost but not quite' sort of effort. I'm not impressed.

Now the DualShock3 is hitting stores on friday, these things can be acquired for £40.. they won't be around long so if you need new controllers, buy.

I bought 1 of these months ago gt it shipped from Canada i think only cost £35 around what it'll cost to buy over here anyway. The controllers are brilliant hardy heavier than the sixaxis and still have sixaxis and vibrations which also works on a lot of games that have already been released prior to the release of the controller and it really makes a better gaming experience and makes you feel like you're actually there my recommendation is buy 1, buy 2, buy 3 depends on how many you need lol and sell your old sixaxis controller or trade it into game or cex or hmv or somewhere or even sell it on amazon and make sure you don't miss out on the new and better gaming experience this controller gives you!!!! This is certainly worth buying if you have a ouple of controllers, it keeps them charged at all times and keeps them neat and tidy instead of thrown all over the living room and tucked behind sofas.

I have plugged mine into my V+ box and they sit nicely beside it, I believe some freeview boxes and SKY + boxes have a USB port on the back so if like me you have 40gb PS3 then you don't need to use any of those ports.

Overall I would say buy it.

I use these for the PS3 and they are fine.

I got these because they are a clone of the 360 wireless ones. They are lightweight and comfortable to use, the ear pad makes a difference for long term wear. Quality is fine for gaming, not as good as a top brand but good enough. Easy to turn on and off and adjust the volume. It charges from the USB.

Criticisms? You can't check the battery level so you should charge regularly. They also take a while to charge.

However, the instructions are bang on for set up and it only takes a few minutes to do.

If you want to get the best out of your driving games then you should seriously consider this wheel. It is very easy to set up, particularly with the PS3, and the build quality is very good. Feedback from the wheel is true to life with every bump, kerb, and barrier felt that will improve your gaming experience that bit more. Works with GT5 Prologue, Dirt and Burnout Paradise and I'm sure will work with the new Codemaster game Racedriver:Grid out this summer. All in all a worthwhile product and makes driving games a lot easier compared to using the plain old controller. Recommended.

I have seen a YouTube video showing you that this device scratches/marks the PS3. Can someone please confirm this? Is there a protective strip on the stand that protects the gloss finish of the PS3?
