Having played both Soul calibur 2 and 3 i was glad to see that the first is not lacking in any of the parts that make the newer soul caliburs such cool games, great graphics, hours of gameplay, the amount of moves and characters available not to mention the different modes of gameplay and my favourite characters in it from the beginning.In my opinion the world of beat-em-ups really needs more like this, then how could anybody be bored, because i certainly will never get bored of Soul Calibur.

this is one of those games that just never gets old quite like sonic 2 it has great graphics great controls well its the same old story kinda take eggman down but what makes this game great is how fun it is now id never say this is the greatest game of all time but its easily the game ive had most fun with (and beleive me ive played a lot of games) if you havent got a dreamcast get one simply just to play this game i got this when i was a kid because we didnt have a lot of money this is one out of about 4 games i got for the dc and i didnt complain ounce simply because i just had to come back and play it again know its not as hard as it was when i was a kid it would take me about a week at the max but still get this game and you wont regret that ... Shenmue (Dreamcast)

when i first recieved a dreamcast i purchased it with this game and for some reason, i think due to development it was a year before it's delayed release. Find yourself immersed in this fantastically constructed world. The gameplay is faultless and the storyline is nothing short of perfection. This game single handedly defined the modern 3rd person role-play game and i loved every minute of it.
However it maddens me not to know how the story concludes, as sega did not make a Shenmue 3!
Xbox 360 release perhaps? (Please)

House Of The Dead 2 (Dreamcast)

Ok so the Original Mode doesnt take long to complete but I love doing it over and over again gradually getting to Rank 1 (1400 more points to go!) The other modes are ok such as Boss mode and Training Mode the only downside really about this game is that you need the Gun it just isnt good without it!

The graphical depiction of real-life cities , with accurate mapping . The fact that depending on what time you play the game , it could be a foggy morning in San Francisco , a humid evening in Tokyo , or a wet afternoon in London . The addictive qualities of the Kudos system - where a target for a race could be met not only by your position in a race , but the style in which you drove it . Sega Bass Fishing

Who likes fishing? It's an old man's sport! Well, think what you like, this game is great. I don't normally like fishing, infact in real life I detest it, but here, it's brilliant. There's superb graphics, along with realistic weather, a series of fish to catch (some harder than others) and great acessories.
If you wind in the fish to hard, they get free, if you don't pull hard enough they get free. It's a game of perfection, and is good fun to play.

May I just say that gaming is twice as good if you get the Sega fishing rod, it really does make it great fun.

I also remember when this came out for the Dreamcast. Its also out on GameCube and PC now and its definatly worth buying to pass the time. This is one of the best games I ever played. Classic

Crazy Taxi (Dreamcast)

Despite a few years passing, Crazy Taxi is still as enjoyable as it ever was. Even with its arcade roots Crazy Taxi manages to have surprising depth within, providing a lot of scope for mastery of both the cities and the handling of the cars. Going from only lasting 5 minutes in arcade timed mode to over 2 hours once I'd learned the intricacies of the city to get the full appreciation of this game is going to take time and dedication. It also has that vital "just one more go" factor when trying to beat previous high scores.

The crazy box which is a series of mini games that work well as a break from the game and a high score challenge with friends are all fun to play and some are exceptionally challenging. They really help players to get a grip on the ... Read More:

carrier has great atmosphere, and the graphics arent exactly resident evil code veronica quality, but they dont look bad and the lighting effects on some of the levels make the game more atmospheric than code veronica. this game is blatently Jaleco's rip off of the resident evil series, but this game has good features such as the bio-scanner, and i found it generally a good game to play. trying to copy resident evil aint exactly a bad thing, it doesnt carry it off as well, but its still worth it to play it. the dreamcast may be dead and gone, but if you are like me trying to snap up as many games for the system as you can before they dissapear forever, this game is definatly worth a look in, especially as it isnt too exspensive

Resident Evil - CODE: Veronica (Dreamcast)

Critically acclaimed as the best in the Resident Evil series, RE:Veronica is genuinely scary! The high-quality visuals the Dreamcast offers are some of the best on the platform, and really add to the fear effect. There is a great challenge in the form of the usual Resident Evil puzzles and bosses etc. but also as you get other modes to play upon completion (which are both excellent and surprising!).
If you enjoyed any of the previous Resident Evil games then this is for you, no question about it. The story is refreshing, the action is top-notch, the fear is back, and the challenge is good too.

A must-buy for any Dreamcast owner.
