I remember when my parents bought me this game for christmas about 10 years ago. At first I had no idea what was going on but after much perserverence it all came together and I completly knew what was happening and I dedicated as much time as possible to unravelling the excellent story which takes about 70 hours to completly finish and is the greatest story I have ever came across in a game. The visuals are a pre-rendered making them very pretty to look at and the soundtrack is as epic as usual thanks to Uematsu. If you have the ability to play this game and haven't i would strongly advise getting it.

I Have Played Every Final Fantasy In Excistence on Every Console And This One Beats Everything!!! The Story Line Is Fantastic And Touching On How He Is Kinda A Loner AT The Beggining TO Being Quite Popular And Loved, The Only Downside Of It Is The Random Battles And The Battle System..But For My Opinion You Don't Even Notice!! Some People Reccommend FF 9 But This One Beats Them All!! If You Buy This Game Then Good Choice!

Don't be fooled by the childish tag, this game isn't just for children. Ever played monster rancher? Well games like that involve you training monsters and raising there stats for battle. Sure you can do that on this game, but what's more is that it has numerous other addictive traits about it.

When you get your starting digimon you have to go through the process of training it and raising it to be a strong monster. Although this involves repetitive and mundane tasks like rushing to a toilet on time. What's important is to know that this for the important task of digivolving, which involves your monster transforming into a older and stronger (most of the time) creature. What your monster turns into depends all on what you do to your monster. ... Read More:

Ok i have the platnum version and i have wrote a review about it, but im going to put more detail into this one.

You play as Zidane Tribal a half man half monkey lol possibly the most lovable FF Character ever... yep even better than Cloud and Squall.

I don't know why people put in there reviews not as good as VII, sure its easyer but thats good and its not as frustrating as VII.

The controls we're abit dodgy in VII too, and the controls in this one ROCK!

And in VII you get 3 party members in battle, in IX you get 4.

The characters are more loving(In my opinion)

Equiping is much more easyer which makes the game better.

The graphics are much better than VII, and possibly the ... Read More:

Unfortunately for us European gamers, Squaresoft and Nintendo felt that we wouldn't embrace the RPG genre during the 16 bit Super Nintendo era. Therefore, we missed out on several exceptional games from that time, one of those being Final Fantasy VI.

Ever since Final Fantasy VII became a smash hit worldwide, many had been curious about previous entries in the franchise, and Squaresoft was happy to ablige by releasing ports in either compilation packs (Final Fantasy Origins and Anthology) or stand-alone entries like this one. It seems, however, that Squaresoft was so eager to get these games released into the market, that they neglected to iron out various emulation problems.

Since Final Fantasy VI was a game designed to run on a cartridge based ... Read More:

This game is awesome; it is VERY hard, it is completable, just requires much patience! If you have Xploder the game is much easier, so I just orded it! I love the game; it's an easier start, harder to get on in life; well HEY, it's a life skill. It isn't a livley game as such, but is very, hmm, intresting. It hardly has a thing to do with the tv series, the only thing it has in common is you're mellenuim pyramid-necklace-thingy, and the cards! Please buy the game, or the TRUE spirit of why we use the cards will be shattered, and no Large duelist wants that do they? Yu-gi-oh fans should buy this as it's Yu-gi's alter ego who you play as, but Yu-gi for a while! Any fan of Yu-gi-oh should buy this, even if it is just an ounce of fanasim.

Buy the game or ELSE! The only people ... Read More:

I remember playing this game a long time ago when I borrowed it from a friend. I never though a farming game would be so addictive!
After playing the game for a while, I decided to go and buy it for myself and I've never bought a game that's been so addictive!
You start off with an old farm your grandfather used to own, and you have 3 years to make it as a successful farmer and build the farm up so it is productive and worth keeping. You can grow crops, breed animals, go fishing, mining, and interact with the village around you. And, if you work hard enough at getting a girlfriend, you can add an addition to the family, a wife.
Highly playable by any age group and very very addictive once you start playing and get used to the controls. Buy this game now and join the ... Read More:

This is definitely one of the most addictive games I have ever played. The satisfaction gained from creating a profitable little park is immense and the range of rides and attractions available for you to build is huge. Whilst occasonally it can get a tad frustrating, especially if all your rides break down at once, for sheer enjoyment you can't get much better than this!!!

If you're a Final Fantasy fan, then by all means get Final Fantasy Anthology. These two Final Fantasy games are much better than the first two, with more interesting characters and storylines, though I feel that the crystals ruin the games; there's the dark knight Golbez attempting to get his hands on the crystals in Final Fantasy IV and the crystals shattering in Final Fantasy V.

Final Fantasy IV

This one is perhaps the hardest Final Fantasy to beat (this or Final Fantasy VIII. Final Fantasy VIII gets hard at the end, where this has constant boss fights, in which half of them are hard to beat, and when I say they're hard, I do mean HARD).

This one is the one that introduces the ATB (Active Time Battle) system. I heard rumours that this was also the first to ... Read More:

Digimon Rumble Arena

Fighting gams come no better than on the PSone. But one of the all time greatest games for the Nintendo was Super Smash Brothers. The newest version of it has been posted onto the the GameCube, and is extremly promising. So when Digimon Rumble Arena turned out to be an interactive Playstation beat 'em up, the game turned out to be worth it's size in gold.
You have nine digimon to battle with and can unlock more by completing the game more than once. The levels provide interactive scenery, allowing players to jump up and down the screen and get power-ups. In the Revolution stage, you can be standing on the floor, then standing on the ceiling, then crashing to earth again. In the garbage disposal level, if you stand on a platform too long, you get thrown into the waste disposal underneath you.
