This was my first venture into the EXCITING WORLD of Tiger Woods PGA extravaganza and lets just say my friends, it is not the last. What particuarly interested me about this game is the well structured multiplayer. While it is certainly no Mario Party, it breathes a degree of finesse. Unfortuantly a few errors where present, such as the infamous No Face glitch, and the graphics are not perfect, but gameplay wise it was relitively entertaining. I just can't wait till next years golf season

Its a great old fashioned blowing stuff up and flippin ya bird to the man. You've gotta love Merc 2, its just a fun break from reality. Some reviews seem to take the game too seriously, its just a laugh. Sit back and relax and blow stuff up.

The biggest flaw apart from all the mentioned glitches is the online co-op, its regional based so someone from the UK can not play with someone in the US WHICH SUCKS! Might be fixed by now or a temporary problem but its annoying nonetheless. Also the lack of couch co-op sucks.

For:
1. The graphics and sound are on the whole stunning, as good as any game out there at the moment, and I must mention one particular map, the town in the Market Garden level, truly awe inspiring. The huge amount of detail that went into that map is absolutely astonishing!
2. The controls are perfect, natural to use and smooth. This is the only game I've played where you can dip and duck up and down, left and right, peak over and around walls and object by just swivelling the stick. It's easily as good as the cover systems used in such games as Gears of War, Ghost Recon, and Rainbow Six Vegas.
3. Parachuting is a nice way to get into a level and feel more natural than just spawning somewhere.

This game is great, it provides entertaiment each and every time you play it which is something i have done constantly. Its only flaw is that its campaign is short however that doesn't stop me playing the game over and over. This is a certain buy if you want to be entertained.

This game is great as long as you don't try to compare it to COD 4.

COD 4 is serious and trying to get the gamer gripped into a situation.

Bad Company is a much more relaxed, fluid game. The controls are still easy but the emphasis is more on fun and blowing stuff up rather than dramatic music killing a world menace.

Your NPC comrades are great fun, all taking advantage of stereotypes. You have a computer nerd with specs, a sarg with attitude and a hill billy, red neck who has some of the funniest lines of dialogue I've come across. I was actually laughing at some of his comments during the game, which is rare " i've got this cousin who's got a great voice but a face like a can of dog food!" Love the game play, love the realistic kits and love the feel of it.

Hate the fact that when you get to a cup final it isn't played at Wembley but at your or your opponents home grounds WHY ? Wembley stadium is on there, use it. FA cup semi final, played at your home ground, whats that all about ?
Hate the fact that no matter how many times you upgrade your ground it looks exactly the same as the one you started with, WHY ?

Lets hope Fifa 09 irons out those niggles.

Let me start by saying two things...

1. This is purely an offline review
2. I have only previously played one burnout game (revenge)

Burnout paradise has turned out to be quite a good and really fun game for me. The graphics are nice and sharp with no slip in the framerate even at high speeds which I think is essential for a game which is played at such a fast pace, the gameplay is good and it sounds realistic too.

I have seen some reviews criticising the open format and free burning, like I said at the start having only played one burnout game before so this new format doesnt really bother me all that much.
