it does what i want it to do i have however encounterd one problem it corrupted a data file thankfully it wasnt a important one (it was from a game i no longer play) but none the less still fustrating what i do like about this is the fact that you can update it all the time! so when new games come out hey presto you have the new codes its fantastic in that respect but you have to enter all the code sometimes 6 lines of it! but it works for me

This cheats CD is great. It has allowed me to easily crack open many PS2 games including Ace Combat-5, Gran Turismo-4, and TT-Superbikes (Ace Combat was almost impossible to play until I enabled full ammo and god mode via this cd, I then came in guns blazing and zipped through most of the game and really enjoyed it.

It has lots of built in cheats for tons of games...but not the very latest ps2 games.

Great concept!

You know a game is not good when you have to re-try every mission over and over until you complete it and then start searching for cheats to complete the game. I mean what's the deal with having to fly a helicopter to drop 4 bombs in under 7 minutes, the helicopter controls are not good and then the flying starts to go all over the place. Then you think why are you wasting your time doing all that when you can buy a well written game.

insert the memory card dongle that came with your action replay max into memory card slot 1 and not offical playstation 2 because you cannot save codes onto offical ps2 memory card ok
problem solved codes can be saved on action replay max

In the past I have always admired Datel for their great products and this is no exception. But what really lets this product down is the poorly written interface software and the awfully inaccessible code junkies website.
Due to the interface software having to be cut onto a CD conforming to the PS2 format you are unlikely to get an update to that. But the website really needs to be hosted on a better connection.

If you don't mind the clumsy interface and slow website this product does at least work.
