This game is just like any other rpg in terms of structure, the main difference being that in this game, the battles take place in real time. The visuals are nice (apart from some character models) and the landscapes are extremely pleasing to look at. The story is nice enough, the characters likeable (apart from Rico and Rucha, the most annoying duo you will encounter in gaming). The combat is simple but because of it's real time hack and slash nature, the game moves at a refrshingly fast rate (battles do not load, you just run up to an enemy and slice away). Overall, a very nice game.

Ok this game isn`t for people who just like shoot`em ups, there is a great story here and you do have to do a lot of talking to people. Graphically this game is fantastic and is like a movie at times especially on a 42" plasma. I haven`t suffered that much with the game freezing and slow down. The story in this game is that good that i really think someone could either make a film from it or even a series preferably a series. If you have the patience then you will enjoy it.

i have only played this game for about 2 hours but i am totaly engrossed and find it hard to be parted. the pure size of this game is stunning and so are the amazing surroundings and graphics. the way you play this game makes you feel involved as if you are the character him or her or its self!this game is a must have and i will update this review when my mum can seperate me and my wonderfull world of oblivion... I really liked this game, the controls are effective and feel natural the missiopns are enjoyable never frustrating and the presentation is excellent. Much like command and conquer it is very familiar all round but the gameplay is not bogged down by annoying cut scenes and novelty missions.

Having not played the game for a while I decided to dust it off at the weekend and give it another go. As soon as it loaded up I remembered why I have spent over 100 hours on it to date (and still not even close to completing it!).

For a game which is now over two and a half years old the graphics are still amazing with stunning sunsets, beautiful night skies and colourful free worlds to roam. I have fallen in love with this game all over again.

It is difficult not to be drawn into the world of Oblivion as everything is realised in such great detail and you get immersed in the storyline from the very beginning.

Anyone who does not already have this game should go out and buy it immediately, as there is nothing that comes even close to matching ... Read More:

it would make sence for bethsda to release a 360 disk version of shivering isles for the good folk that dont have xbox live. and they did
problem was they didnt tell u that it required xbox live to download a special download only patch to play the dam thing. cant even begin to explain how jooped i feel im sure there breaking some kind of law its unbelivable almost like they made a sly deal with microsoft lol bunch of jokers
