I got guitar hero 3 plus guitar for my birthday in April and I am still playing it now. The guitar has a real feel to it but is so much easier to play than a real one (until you get to expert). Anyone can pick it up, do the tutorial , then play it to their hearts content. I did not know many of the songs when I got it but a lot of them are now among my favorite tracks. The graphics on the ps2 are brilliant so the guitarist on the screen really looks like they are playing the song. If you buy two guitars you have lots of additional game options I have bought rock band now but I still play guitar hero a lot. A great game for all ages ( i am in my 40's)

I've tried other controllers for the PS2, and in the end there is no other controller quite like the Dualshock 2. The buttons on other controllers often require quite a conscious effort to use them, but the Dualshock 2's analogue buttons are actually analogue - press lightly and you'll get one response, press a little harder and you'll get another, and so on. The Dualshock 2 seems to last as long as any other controller and is simply better quality, so there's no real competition there.
As for the usefulness of a Dualshock 2 now that the PS3 is out - the Sixaxis controller bundled with the PS3 doesn't have rumble functionality, and a Dualshock 3 with rumble and Sixaxis tilt sensors will currently set you back quite a bit compared to ... Read More:
Anybody who has shopped third-party should be well aware that there is a multitude of wireless controllers available for PS2 (and none of them are first-party either), of course as with everything, they all vary in quality, this being the 3rd wireless controller i've used, and the fact that it being wireless was probably what put me into buying it over another DualShock2 since Sony didn't bother doing a wireless variation.
The controller itself, is like most others, has a dongle that just plugs into the controller port and acts as the reciever, the controller itself as a matte feel to it as opposed to plastic, this acts as a grip and is very comfortable, the buttons, one thing I have found with most third-party controllers is that the D-Pad is ... Bought this steering wheel as i wanted to play NFS underground on my PC. It works great with it. Plug in and play, no messing around with drivers etc. Been playing around for a few hours and its great fun, gives driving games a different feel, instead of press left/right on 2 buttons.
There are 6 levels of sensitivity, so should suit your needs, and has vibration. Which you can switch on/off.

I bought this when i got my PS3, as I wanted to play with my friends and I didn't have enough money for another controller.
The adapter is very good all you do is plug in the adapter into one of the usb ports and then plug in your ps2 controller into the other side of the adapter. Then press analog and your away.
very simple, worked straight away and cheap.

Now I know dance mats will become unresponsive after time, but after 2 gos? I got it out this morning and had 2 dances. I left it out whilst I went out and came back to a house that stunk of the dance mat. It really does reek.
I played on it again and the buttons were already starting to go - it didn't matter if I used the ball, heel or all of my foot, or on the carpet or hard floor.
To give you an idea of how unresponsive it has become in the space of 12 hours, I went from being able to score 100k on Dance Fest to 20k. I certainly hope the replacement isn't as bad!

this wheel is a great peice of technology,i have been using this for nfs carbon for the ps2, 10/10 excellent, the force feedback gives a realistic feel to the game, this wheel is only good if it is clamped to a table, it is great, the wheel has a very comfortable rubber, with a good rotation resistance strength, havnt been able to get out of the driving seat with the logitech driving force EX steering wheel.
Got this wheel because it is cheap, and after 8 months of use it has served me well. Responsive control, professional build and great looking to boot. If you want a steering wheel for your racing games and can't afford the more 'pro' wheels, I'd highly recommend this.
Negatives: After many months of heavy use, the wheel itself will begin to make a few creaking sounds. The accelerator pedal (after constant hammering) will also lose a little bit of power, but after this much use you will probably be in the mood for an upgrade (because of the substantial extra dimension this wheel has added to my games I will be getting the Logitech G25). The lack of force feedback also makes driving sims a little tricky, but overall a great entry level wheel and for just 30 ... Read More:
