In manager mode i have to admit that Fifa 09 is second to none at the moment, however the downfall(which you wouldn't know from playing the demo version) is the online game play.

I loved Fifa 08 for the online gaming and was really looking forward to playing 09 online. Unfortunately I have spent the last 2 hours trying to play an online game. Same thing every time. You invite or get invited, you accept, then nothing happens, and the game becomes "no longer available" i was trying with one guy to get a match going for over half an hour. The EA Servers for 09 are woeful and at present i am thinking i just wasted my money! stick with Fifa 08. 09 isn't worth the money!

I've never been into consoles but at 28 i decided i wanted to try.

And i am hooked, its such a compulsive gadget that you just have to keep picking up and playing with, superb graphics and the range of games suits all tastes.

I must say that I was taken aback by the comments on the forum and thought that perhaps the issues with the protection were exaggerated and it was just a 'flame war' but having bought the game I have to say I am also hugely disappointed. Kudos to Amazon though for not trying to close all discussion - better that Amazon protect its' reputation rather than attempt to save EA/Maxis. But to be honest even thought I was furious when I found out (only after buying the game) that it had such an invasive protection I can't see myself playing the game more than once or twice anyway. The games themselves are so simplistic that there are some superb freeware games that I would recommend way before suggesting that anyone buy this. The cell stage in particular is like ... Best fifa yet! It's now miles ahead of PES (played the PES demo and it feels horrible compared to Fifa 09, ignore the PES fanboys) I was a huge PES fan years back and Fifa was a no go for me. But with last years and this years fifa effort, it's just got so much better. It feels fluid to play, it's not easy, it really feels like a real game of football.

The only downside is the limited customisation this year....it's even less than last year! You can't do things like create teams, or change player numbers in manager mode an the transfer system is still not great. I think for next years Fifa, they need to catch PES up on it's very customisable manager mode.

All in all, great game.

My husband bought this for my birthday, I'm 36 and a bit on the chunky side. I love it, I noticed a difference in myself after only a week of using it. The instructor is encouraging and it makes you feel good to beat your own record. The balance games are really fun and I love the yoga. I have a joint condition and the vast majority of exercises are easy on my joints, although at first on a couple of the muscle exercises my knees got a twinge, I found I could still achieve the goal without bending so deeply, which causes me pain. Now I rarely have a problem. The aerobic exercises are fun and work up quite a sweat without being harsh on your joints. Perfect for people who want to exercise but cannot for medical reasons join a gym or go for a real jog.

For little more than the price of a controller, you get this beginers game to get you going. Quite entertaining and very easy to use

It talks you through step by step how to use the remote with different games, practicing skills that will come in useful on other games.

It should entertain the kids for a while

This was the first game me and my sister bought (we went halfers on it) and i have to say we were excited abut it. First, let me say, in my opinion, is good about it...
1) The variety of puzzles: I liked how many different puzzles were in here, especially the maths puzzles (i ot down to 15 seconds for 30 and 45 for 100) and did see a big improvement on my maths. The clock challenge makes you think, but my personal favourite is sudoku. Before, i couldn't get into it, now i love it and i look forward playing to it.
2) The tests: the tests you take beofre you start and during your progress, although you have to enter it manually, and think that it would have been better if test were done in timed intervals.

As several people have already stated, this game is fun in a multi player race. If you play it by yourself you will get so angry you are liable to throw the wheel at your tv screen. The flying shells that blow you up right before the finish live, getting knocked off track from behind, actions like these get old really quickly, espeically when you are trying to unlock new courses. Overall, alot of fun to play with your partner or the kids, just don't play it alone!

This game is really addictive , not easy, but you feel you have to just try again & again & again then when you get a song right you just have to try the next song and so it goes on. Hence the frustration. The songs are good even though I didn't know many off them before I got the game, they grow on you quite quickly. Overall it will keep you busy for quite some time. So well worth the money.

Don't be fooled by the average ratings impatient gamers gave this at release, because of a few hiccups with registration and such. Since then Warhammer has been very stable, the most stable mmo at release in my experience, with very little downtime. Or by low scores given, I suspect by certain fans of another popular MMO.
I've played MMO's for a very long time, amongst others, Ultima Online, Everquest, Anarchy, Dark Age of Camelot, WoW, Eve, LOTRO, and without doubt Warhammer Online outshines them all.
