I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game, even the parts that I couldn't do, and had to succumb to asking for my husband's help..e.g. controlling the altheometer!!
It is a little different from the film, but who cares? Good entertainment value, andthe mini challenges are fun!
Look forward to the sequel.

san andreas is one of the best gta's in the series. the game has amazing graphics although it wont work on the old ps2 on the new one the graphic are quick and smooth and dont slow down during gameplay. In sanandreas the costomisation of your character is incredible as you get him to have a hair cut, buy shoes and clothes, get a tatoo. You are even able to customise cars with hydrolics and nitros. I dont think that the authers of the one star reviews have actually played the game. Buy sanandreas and you wont be disapointed at all.

Whilst the game looks good and has features which could make the game fun, the absolutely awful camera/visibility makes the game frustrating and almost impossible to play. Trying to jump on ledges is so difficult because you cannot rotate the camera 360 degrees to see where you want to go. A big disappointment.

This isn't one of those huge sprawling games you will still be absorbed by one year from now. It lacks depth, complexity and game length. But it IS good solid fun and although short it feels polished and not rushed. It doesn't get ridiculously difficult towards the end (I'm looking at you scooby-doo!) and was at just the right level to keep my six year old going for a few weeks. There probably isn't a huge amount of replay value, you only get five of the Ben 10 aliens and essentially it's just a beat-em-up but it does have what a lot of games these days seem to think is beneath them - fun!

Believe it or not, there was a time when full free-to-roam 3D worlds were just a gamer's pipedream. Oh sure, we'd had some pretty impressive action adventures in three dimensions - Metal Gear Solid and Soul Reaver come to mind - and even some truly memorable settings, from Hyrule in Nintendo's magnum opus Ocarina of Time to the then standard-setting streets of Sega's Shenmue... but these were all fantastical, story driven fictions, not the go-anywhere, do-anything sandbox offering many had craved.
And then it happened: GTA III. And since then gaming's never been the same; we've had a host of imitators, from your True Crimes to movie licenses like the Godfather and Scarface, and even the barmy-as-a-bright-blue-banana Just Cause, but GTA, in all ... Read More:

I was a huge fan of the original Mercenaries, and had big hopes for this sequel. When I heard it was coming out on PS2, I was delighted.
However, this is a big letdown. If anyone remembers the cheap and nasty ports of PC games onto consoles in the late 90s and early 2000s (Carmageddon, Doom, Quake and so on...) you'll remember 'the fog'. It's a horrible shortcut for when developers are having problems with draw distance - everything above close range disappears into a thick fog, meaning that enemies can be shooting at you, yet you can't see them. Vehicles and buildings will suddenly appear out of the middle distance, leaving you with next to no time to react. This is how the PS2 version feels. I can't comment on the PS3 or X360 versions, as I've not ... Read More:

Well first of all this game is totally different from any other game you would have played. The size is enormous, probaly near to the size of San Andreas and the graphics on this are beautiful. The gameplay is short though. The first time I completed this it took me about 5 hours I think but this is the sort of game which will make you want to go through more than once. You don't fight any sort of creatures in this game apart from the Colossi themeselves. There are sixteen in total and you fight them one after another. When you fight one you have to find a way to climb on them and then you have to find there weakness before you can kill them. The main character (Wander) does all this for a loved one (Mono) who has been sacrificed or something for being cursed. You ... Read More:
