There are so many flaws in this game its a struggle to rembember them all. The Game seems to want you to crash, a few times before ive actually even hit an object or another car the stupid crash animation comes on (which lasts about 10 seconds)when sometimes the crash could've been avoided. In the previous Burnout's if you glanced against a car you would not crash but in this game if you even touch another car you immediately crash.

Another problem is the navigation, you have a map in the corner and street signs flash up on the screen telling you which route to take but normally as soon as you look at the map or the street signs you crash; if you ignore them and concentrate on the racing then you miss the turning and the whole ... Need for Speed: ProStreet (PS3)

Hubby bought a PS3 a few weeks ago along with the usual warfare games which being female are not for me. Got the free trial download for Prostreet Need for Speed and I decided to have a go and enjoyed it so much we bought the game. Now I am completely hooked. I just love the challenges, trying to win the races, trying not to damage the car. I really feel my adrenalin going and my heart racing.

We also bough Gran Turismo but I cannot get into that yet and find it quite boring.

I need my life back though as I cannot tear myself away from the PS3 and Need for Speed.

Next thing is a wheel as the PS3 controls are quite difficult. Problem with a wheel though is you need a stand?

NASCAR 09 (PS3)

nascar 08 was the first nascar game to arrive on next gen-and it was good,but nascar 09 takes all that was good on nascar 08 and improves on it as follows:
better graphics
better handling/playability
excellent and challenging career mode
better car customisation and set up options
it does aid your enjoyment if you follow and understand nascar-racing in a full 43 car field on these various(mostly oval)tracks is great fun and very challenging,nascar may not be as big in the uk as formula 1(though the fan base is growing)but it is 10 times more entertaining to watch and to play-this game is a true 5 star classic!!

Nascar 2008: Chase For The Cup (PS3)

the first nascar game for next gen-and a very good start,excellent graphics,all three of the major series-including the new COT-great handling and steering,the only minor grumble is that the career mode lacks depth-but a great oval racing game overall!!

Need for Speed Carbon (PS3)

Not one of the best Need for Speed games, I've played.
But it dose have some nice fetures like the police hot pusute, terottory controls and team racing.

First thing you will notice is that the grapics and sound are like out of a ps2 game, and this could be improved, if the develepers taken more care.
The secound thing you will notice is the button configuration is not like other racing games or even some of the other need for speed games.
So this was quite frustrating, as I am use to hitting X rather than R2.
But this could easly be changed in config.
3rd thing I noticed was the control was a bit stiff compare to need for speed underground 2.

Road Rash Jailbreak Classic

First impression I had of this game: Major disapointment! I couldn't believe how bad the graphics looked, not detailed or polished at all. I was starting to think that I had been ripped off even though I had payed almost nothing for it! But after a while something very interesting happened, I was hooked on it! Fortunately the gameplay is very acceptable (not even near perfect I must admit) and the key feature of this game: FUN
If you have some spare change in your pocket and if you're aware of the limitations of the original Playstation, go get this game and invite your friends over for a couple of hours of pure FUN!

F1 Championship Season 2000 Platinum

The game has all of the cars and helmets of the end of the year 2000 but like Sony's Formula One 2000 there's no cigarette sponsors. This game is a lot better though. If you see my latest Formula One 2000 review you'll see the cigarette sponsors what they are and no helmet sponsors and cigarette sponsors on the cars in the team selection. Also like Formula One 2000 I like the bad graphics gone away but I'm glad that it tells you when the drivers were born like Formula One 2000

A top motorbike game. The graphics are brilliant and the action is very fast. Also includes some Motocross levels which are the best in the game. TOP GAME!

Hot Wheels Turbo Racing

What this game is like and what people expect are a bit different. In some places the graphics are let down and on some occasions they are jutery. I would wait until it becomes a value game(no doudt) and maybe at a tenner it is a good buy, but not much more. Go for Driver 2 if you like this kind of game.
