Read all the reviews about the installation problems so decided to wait until it all settles down before purchasing this game, bought yesterday and had it running via steam first time, i loaded it with no problems at all, works fine has'nt crashed and playing as i would expect.

The DRM issue seems to be causing some distress, and yes, it isn't brilliant, but there are lots of games that use something similar (including Valve's entire output) so I'm going to ignore it for the sake of this review. If it really bothers you, you won't buy the game no matter how good it is, so why bother reading the reviews?

As far as I can make out, Red Alert 3 is basically a souped-up version of RA2 with a few new toys and a couple of tweaks to things like the graphics and AI. Not that there's anything particularly wrong with that- RA2 was great fun- but it would be nice if it felt like some effort had gone into improving the gameplay.

Great fun but...repetative and linear and then some more of the same linear and repetaive stuff in a different setting.The graphics were up to best.

The game lacks atmosphere, missions are repetitive, and generally I find myself wishing I was playing STALKER.

The characters are poorly developed, and kind of, not interesting. The dumbest character in STALKER has more to say than some of the lead roles in Far Cry 2.

The "vast open spaces" also disappoint - you are consistently barred from hilltops, which means that action is chanelled entirely through valleys... somehow missing the whole point of the promised freedom of movement.

There is scope for plenty of variation in styles of gameplay, and I've had some fun experimenting with stealth attacks and a more explosive approach.

Great game! Gameplay is superb and deeply involving. The amount of well realised locations and characters to discover is fantastic! It really sucks you in and gets better as you play.

Graphics wise, I wasn't really too impressed even on ultra settings - oh well!
Be aware it crashes lots though (every 5 mins) - check the web - if nothing else works though turn off the anti-aliasing and it seems fine now.

Be aware various disc drives don't like this disc! See the wow forums for a loooooonnnnggggg list of complaints.You may be paying for a registration code and a hefty download from Blizzard rather than running it from the disc.No probs with the original or BC but WOTLK hates my hardware!!!

This is a great game!
The game is a very varied experience indeed - it has 5 stages that are almost like five different standalone games - except they are connected by the way your 'creature' evolves.

The creature creators included in this game are exceptional, even solely as art programs (however, if you are intending to use spore for art, I'd recommend the cheaper product known as Spore: Creature Creator, that's only £4.99.)

The online content is actually quite good, for a PC game that isn't really focused on multiplayer (World of Warcraft is a good example of a game focused on multiplayer.) You are allowed to download the creations of your friends into your game.

Nothing on earth can stop a softwear thief if he puts his mind to it. I am sure EA games know this. The most they can do is make it a bit harder to steal their game. So I am wondering why they are bothering with this DRM and why you can only install the game 3 times before you have to re-register it on line to be able to install it again. I think it is only a cover to get some murky softwear on our computers. Plus, I know it sounds very backward of me but I am not going to start again with AOL and pay a monthly fee just so I can use a game. I had AOL before my last computer died and you would not believe the fun I had trying to tell them I was no longer able to use the internet. I think it took nearly a year before it sunk in.

Call of Duty: World at War (PC)

Graphics are basically CoD4, so it runs fast and looks great. Single player is more historically significant than CoD4 even if the gameplay is similar. Coop mode is a blast, especially on the zombies level. Multiplayer is pretty much as expected and will no doubt keep the game popular for a long time. Bit of a let down that Arcade mode doesn't appear as in CoD4, which gave the game significant replay value, however coop almost makes up for it. For me it's certainly been worth the money.

cod 4 is one of the best games I've ever played. the gameplay is great 2 if you were to get any game get this one it rocks!!
