I had this game free with my DS bundle and I must say I have never seen any of the films. However I found the game great fun and it has some wonderful music on it. I did however finish playing in 2 hours - which for me (being unable to play many games) was amazing. However, for young players I think this would be a game played over and over again. Mainly for the sing-a-long and interactiveness during the songs. You can also rearrange a playlist of up to 10 songs. So if you are high school musical obsessed this is certainly a game for you. Older players might find it repeative and short! Thanks.

I own several puzzle-type games for my DS so was rather surprised (and flattered) to receive Guitar Hero on Tour from my son for my 59th birthday this week. Thought he'd maybe bought it for himself and my other son to use. However I'm loving it, have no problems with the grip, and although the music so far is not the sort of thing I know, I'm progressing well and haven't touched my 'serious' games since owning this one! I do agree you can't play it for too long without getting an aching hand but it's very addictive.

My wife bought me this and a DS for Christmas (hey I'm a big kid!) and I have hardly put it down!
The "guitar" add on hardware takes a little time to get used to which is why I have given this only 4 stars, it can give your hand a cramp if used too long, so take breaks people!
I could not believe the amount and the quality of the songs put into one small cartridge!
Although sound quality is a lot better when listening via headphones.
Apart from the standard career and quick play settings you have a Guitar Duel setting where you can play through all the songs against either the DS or somebody else who also has the game on their DS, which is a barrel of laughs!
There are also the usual unlockables throughout ... Read More:

Heya
I am actually quite frustrated with this game. I do like high school musical and was delighted when the game came out. I thought great, my favouite film packed into a game. Oh boy how wrong could I get? You basically spend most of your time pressing circles on the bottom screen to the different songs but even if you press them wrong, nothing seems to happen to their voices!! How strange?? Then u unlock clothing for the different characters which is not even slightly amusing. I may purchase the other high school musical game which is called High school musical living the dream. I just hope it is better than this great dissapointment.

The aim of the game is to help the zubos and to do this you go around knocking out zubons and finding various things. The game is probably aimed at children but I am in my 20s and have found it very addictive - the urge to knock out just one more zubon has kept me up late on more than one occasion! The game is played entirely with the stylus including the fighting where it is all to do with tapping the screen at the correct times. I tend to like puzzle and strategy games which this isn't really but I highly recommend it.

Following on from the marvelous Guitar Hero On Tour, the second in the DS franchise - 'Decades' is here at last.
Gameplay is the same as the first game, using your guitar pick to shred your way around the globe. This time though, the songs are much better:
"All Right Now" Free
"Any Way You Want It" Journey
"Are You Gonna Go My Way" Lenny Kravitz
"Buddy Holly" Weezer
"Can't Stop" Red Hot Chili Peppers
"Crushcrushcrush" Paramore
"Down" Stone Temple Pilots
"Everything is Everything" Phoenix
"Eye of the Tiger" Survivor
"Free Ride" Edgar Winter Group
"I Believe in a Thing Called Love" The Darkness
"La Bamba" Los Lobos
"The Middle" Jimmy Eat World
"No Rain" Blind ... Read More:

I am a musician having studied for five years and achieving BA. I have always love the guitar and been envious of others being able to play one so easy. I bought Jam sesions second hand as i'd heard mixed reviews about it. The first point to be made is this is not a game. It has been said many times but people still think it's a game! It turns the ds into a tool, so hard core gamers are out.
First, what i liked. I liked the set up menu, which states where everything is. I like the backgrounds and strings you can chose (some are said to be unlockable but they were all there), and the range of popular songs are great- Avril Lavigne to Coldplay. I was pleased i mastered Coldplay's yellow! These can be easily youtubed if you're not sure how ... Read More:

I bought this game the other day and its really good!!! The only thing wrong is its really easy to beat so do it in stages, like do half an hour at a time. Overall I would give it 4 1/2 stars as its really really good!! P.S- Im not D.Ward, im his Daughter lol !!

I love this game !, its a beat game where you make the character dance by using your stylus in diferrent directions according to the ones that show up at the top of the screen. There are loads of songs, characters and places to dance and the they unlock as you go along, you can also design the characters outfits if you wish (:. Overall 10/10 if you like these rythem kinda games like chipmunks and elite beat agents then you will love this. (:

I'm a fairly new convert to rhythm games. I bought one of the Dancing Stage games and a mat for my fiancee and was eventually persuaded to try it myself. From there it wasn't a big step to Guitar Hero (on both the Wii and the DS). I saw that Elite Beat Agents seemed to have been getting good reviews in lots of places, and Amazon were selling it for just over a tenner, so I figured I'd give it a try.
The opening stage pretty much set the tone for the rest of the game. The game alternates between gameplay and short humorous cutscenes, so you're not tapping through the entire game. The stories are incredibly silly and don't make much sense (and quite how three male cheerleaders can influence the situation is never explained). But it's ... Read More:
