I'm afraid I'd have to disagree with my esteemed fellow reviewers.
I love this game!
I'll be the first to admit that I'll turn a blind eye to some minor foibles to anything Star Wars related. The prequel trilogy had clunky dialogue, sure, but I was able to enjoy their spectacular set pieces and visual splendour all the same.

So while this game may be a little on the short side and feels somewhat rushed in places it's also a fun action adventure romp made all the more satisfying by the Wii's unique interface.

In fact, I'd say that it's the Wii's controls that prevent this from being a paint by numbers hack n slash affair.

Not sure if you would class Wii Fit as a game as such? its more of an excercise tool- although some of the games are fun!

I saved up to buy this and was hoping it would be worth it after all the hype! i'm happy to say i am very pleased with it and can see why it gets such good ratings. It's very handy having something that will check your weight as well as telling you your BMI. It allows you to set yourself realistic goals in terms of weight loss and it warns you if you set something unrealistic (e.g. lose a stone in a week!). I do Yoga anyway and was pleased the poses are real - albeit quite hard to get used to balancing on the Wii fit board. As many have said, great game but the random nature of the 150cc races is really demoralising. Then again it does add to the lifespan because it is a lot harder to get gold on all the cups than in previous games. Hopefully with the next game they'll get rid of the blue shells and all the bloody lightning strikes that happen every single race. Great game though.

This game is absolutely brilliant and I would recommend it to anyone. By far the best Wii game that I have played. Don't understand all the fuss about the putting - it seems fine to me. Some of the earlier negative comments nearly put me off buying this game, but so glad that they didn't.

It's a bit of fun... it's no Wii sports for sure, but it's not bad. I find it quite addictive, but only in the same way Tetris/ Bubblets/ Solitaire/ Freecell can be. Finding your way around the many many games is a bit of a pain, but no big deal. As another reviewer said, you can't go wrong for [less than] 15 quid... I'd rather be swinging cows in Rayman's Rabbids though :-)

This game is really addictive , not easy, but you feel you have to just try again & again & again then when you get a song right you just have to try the next song and so it goes on. Hence the frustration. The songs are good even though I didn't know many off them before I got the game, they grow on you quite quickly. Overall it will keep you busy for quite some time. So well worth the money.

This game is vastly improved compared to 08.

The controls are ripped from Pro Evo, but simplified and they work well.

The Mii mini games and 8 Vs 8 matches are class.

All in all its a great game.

Take it online and it's a poor job. The matches work fine, the servers are great, it's just that there's no Mii matches and no "point and click" passing, ie, all the things they've added are missing online.

It's plain lazy and prevents this great game from achieving a great score!

When it got this game I thought it was brilliant after 2 months I still thought it was brilliant. BUT after 3 months this game was pretty average the reason being the lack of events, yea sure I got hundreds of world records but there is just NOT ENOUGH EVENTS!!!!!! The graphics are very good there are some good characters to choose from, there are some dream events which are quite fun that you can't have anywhere else. Another thing with the game is that if you get a world record on 2 player mode it doesn't count, for example I threw 113 meters on javelin in 2 p mode when the record is only 98 meters and it says 'new world record on the results table but when you start again next time you play it will be 98 meters!

I brought this game a couple of weeks ago because it was only £12 but when I finally got it I was so disappointed.I am not a serious gamer and yet I still found it really boring after 40 minutes and I was even playing with 2 other people. I would recommend people rent it before they buy so they can make there own minds up but for me I don't think I will be playing it again.

Any doubts about the Nintendo Wii being just for Kids gets blown away by this class of a game. I bought this from Morrisons when they were doing Wii chart games for £15 each, and I decided to get this after some begging to my wife who thought it would be too violent. The way the characters move, the pick ups, story line, the music and retro bits are just genius. The only downside I find is that I am unable to link up with anyone online to brawl with and sometimes I find that the characters are too small, thats why I have given it 4 stars, which is very disappointing after enjoying Mario Kart online (which I still play regularly). As far as I am concerned, forget serious fighting like Soul Calibur and racing games like Gran Tourismo, just buy SSBB and Mario Kart on the Wii instead. ... Read More:
