I'm going to avoid doing the usual boring thing (such as make comparisons to Pro Evolution) & just give an opinion on Fifa 09 in isolation. Admittedly, I've only played the game for one evening since owning it, but I'm impressed, and this could be just what I'm after in a football game.

Presentation wise, Fifa 09 is superb, which all too often can be covering up a product lacking in substance. But this is not the case here... While this is a football simulation, EA havn't forgotten that it is still a video game and because of this, Fifa 09 is entertaining and not sterile. Not everyone will agree with that opening statement but for the average person the difference between 80g and 40g is redundant. There isn't that much to download from the PSN and most you will delete after use anyway. Anyone wanting to use it as a complete media centre will no doubt go for the 80gig version or wait for the 160 gig but I imagine that is the minority of ps3 buyers.
As to whether anyone should buy a ps3 over other console is a tricky question.

It is a well made machine and rarely has technical issues.
It has wi fi built in.
The sony network is completely free.

ive played the demo, ive watched many videos and ive played fifa. FIFA was disappointing. But it seems that PES has turned back to how it was in its prime (3,4,5,6). seeing as i have only played the demo and i take it only a few people have played the full game, it is hard to review this game fully until its release, but from what i've played and seen, it's looking good. I only hope that the editing on the PS3 version reflects that of its PS2 sibling

Its hard to review a small lenght of cable, its looks are what you expect, it has two ends and it plugs easily into the back of your telly and the back of your playstation job done.

But theres a little more to it, this cable is good value for money, ive seen some comparitive products charge excessivly for the same product. It aids your gaming experience, your playstation will allow a higher setting and although it doesnt change the digital streaming it will boost the quality!

I was slightly skeptical about buying this game due to some of the negative reviews saying that it is boring and repetative. But being a huge Star Wars fan I decided to buy it anyway.

As the famous 'A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away...' appeared I could feel the excitment building up inside me. It never disappeared, only grew more and more as the game went on! The opening cutscene is absolutley stunning! It completely captures the feel of the Star Wars universe. It's not just the opening cutscene that does this, it's every single cutscene in the game.

i like tiger woods 09.for me this is the best one yet,the trees look half decent finally and the water looks great also.the rest of the graphics are good but not as good as the ps3 can do but maybe that's because ea are lazy or it's a cross platform game who knows.
the main thing is it's fun in career mode,online or with others and the way your stats go up and up as you get better but go down a bit if you have a bad game i like a lot.
for all the things they could have done i still love the game,next time would be good if they added some extra stuff like your own golf house,golf carts that you can race against your mates and crank up the graphics a bit and i will be well chuffed,as it is i give it 8/10.

just like the title says i was really let down by gta4 for so many reasons,here are some of the things that cheesed me off with the game that so many magazines gave 10/10???? i would give it 7/10 being generous.
cheesed off with....
acting is poor and the characters have no charisma or charm,nico is a bland pot bellied immigrant who is just not cool at all and does missions for money he cant spend on anything?!
story is really weak,characters appear with no reason for them being in the story and no explanation as to how you got tangled up with them either.
driving with external view is rubbish,car handles like a bar of soap but strangely handling is fixed with bonnet view? i prefer to see the car though but it's like you are driving a ferrari ... Read More:

I've never written a review on amazon, but after playing this game during the beta i felt compelled to tell people just how brilliant this game is.

First off you have the story mode, in this its like the normal single player type of game, its ingenius and fun to play, for the first time my girlfriend played with me and she hates game but loved this, its simple and just a great laugh, first customising your sackboy/girl and then playing the levels together, its cute, friendly and everyone can play.
The story mode could be sold on its own as its probably better than most games out but its probably less than half of what makes LBP Great.

I'm so glad i bought this. Got hold of it this morning, plugged in the cables put in the disc and decided to go and make myslef a drink to get away from the god-awful cheesy video they put you through. Found the channels perfectly - 88 in total. Picture quality is excellent, the recording is amazing and overall I am very very impressed with it.

its no coincidence the 5 has been droppde from the title.... its an expansion of call of duty 4 modern warfare.
if someone asked you if you would like a full campaign story, online co-op the same rank structure as call of duty 4 modern warfare. but set in a different time period.... i know i wouldnt say no. and theres realistic gore.
