The 20gb drive has all the space you'll need to download extra maps, game modes ect as well as loads of xbox live arcade games and videos etc. There's no set price for the 120gb model in the uk as yet, and after using an xbox 360 for some time it's reasonable to say that all that space will be wasted except for the most hardcore of the hardcore, or those who wish to fill it with mp3's, which I would guess most tech freaks already have stored on their pc. So if your xbox 360 is hdless then this is the way to go. Expensive, yes, worth it, yes.

It's a memory card that lets you save your progress and profile. I can get 5 or 6 arcade games on here that can be transported between my XBoxes (does not work with Sega Vintage Collection games, eg. Sonic).
But, it is still just a memory card. Why it should cost so much to fit in a proprietary slot remains a mystery. More overpriced hardware by MS.

I own a wii, a 360 (pro v2) and a ps3. Following the recent E3 announcements, I decided to purchase this item, and tbh I was fed up with content shuffling due to the small HDD space with the pro.
This item came with the 120Gb unit, a transfer cable, a transfer cd. You turn on your 360 with your 20gb HDD, plug the transfer cable in to the 360, connect the other end to the new 120gb hdd and insert the disc. It comes up with a transfer bar. It took 30mins to tranfer my content to the new drive. Turn off the console. swap the HDD's around. You're done. 107Gb space after install.
I have to say, while the whole process was easy, having to pay 100 for a 120gb drive is crazy when you can get a 250gb one or more for the ps3 for the ... Read More:

The sole purpose of me buying these Memory Unit's is one word, "Backup". I always backup my saved data because if my consoles die or go out with a bang, I always have something small around me which has the backup data, and it helps me get back into business rather than starting from scratch!
This Memory Unit is for the XBox 360 Console, it's 64MB and it can store any type of data you acquire for backup. Because of it's size though, you are quite limited to what you want to backup as certain retail games have saved data from about 1MB or even more. BioShock alone requires 15MB per saved game. The Orange Box is another game, which requires big data space, 10MB per saved game!
Because of this reason I use the unit for games which ... Read More:
