I got this game for my daughter last year and we still play it now, There's something quite therapeutic about peeling veg with your stylus, chopping onions etc. There are many things to do and many recipes to unlock. Me and my kids love it.

I was highly impressed with this game as i had got imagine happy cooking and it wasnt as good as i expected but this was much better and more advance (time limit) so good hope you like this game (written by 13 yr old)

My Pet Dolphin (Nintendo DS)

(This is written by Hannah,8 years). I got this game with my amazon voucher because it had good reveiws. But I have to say I was quite disappointed. At the start you get a dolphin and you have to name it. All you do after that is feed it, train it and play with your dolphin. You can enter contests aswell but they're boring. Overall it's quite a good game but after about 1 hour of play it gets quite boring.

This game is sooo funny! especially when playing against other people. It's nice to see a game that makes good use of the Wii controller as you use it to chop, stir, toss, peel etc. Make sure you are sitting in a good position as it can get frustrating when you are madly trying to stir your soup and its not picking up your actions. The only fault i would say is that cooking mama's voice has a terrible accent! i would of preferred they had changed the voice for the UK market as sometimes its difficult to understand what she has said. I guess that does add to the comedy value of this game however. Who would of thought a game about cooking would be so fun!. I Did It Mum: Girls (Nintendo DS)

One of the best games out for pre school children to play on DS. Easy to understand games, fairly simple instructions and no reading required to get started. Games like pairs work just like the card games and my 4 year old played only this game for months before moving on to some of the harder DS games. Well worth the money and a game your little one can play for ages on her own while you put your feet up for a well earned rest.

this game is ok but a few bad words. i finished it in a couple of days and i would not recommend it for value for money and the missions were VERY short ps dont buy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Princess on Ice (Nintendo DS)

I bought this game on impulse (I usually play role playing ones such as Phoenix Wright and Lost in Blue) as I wanted something different and fun - and I really like ice skating.

The game itself is quite straightforward. You choose a character and then compete for the title of Ice Princess, basically by completing one ice dance at a time successfully (this is done by completing mini challenges whilst the character skates, such as tapping out bubbles in rhythm to the music or spinning a disk very quickly - don't worry, you get to watch the performance back if you missed any moments of glory). ArmA: Armed Assault - Gold Edition (PC DVD)

Arma is a great infantry combat simulation game (the vehicles could do with some work though) i barely play the real game though because the map editor is just so much fun and really lets you create your own unique and fun singleplayer and multiplayer maps. Theres also a few great mods out for it too, (zombie mod FTW!!).
All in all, if your P.C will handle it and you're fed up with the run and gun of BF2 style games, give Arma a try!!

Bust A Move (Wii)

I used to love this game when I got the old version off my nephew years ago (especially after night shift when you don't want to do anything to taxing)so thought great I'll get it for my wii. But I was really disapointed. They've taken a simple but brilliant game and made it more complicated but less fun. Infuriatingly though whenever I do go on it I end up being on for ages then think I've just wasted the last two hours of my life. Its so addictive but pointless.
