I actually quite enjoy this game. Ok, so the lack of a real league as such is a slight drawback (hence the loss of a star). You can change the team names, have a different colour kit (altho when you are top down on the game it is usually viewed as a red, blue, yellow or whatever - large dot)and the league is actually a group then knock-out World Cup, and the AI teams are rather good without being impossible to beat and keeps the game challenging enough.

Speak as I find, I played the damn game for hours the first time have had many a two player game since. Not one of the most graphically challenged games you will find out there, but well worth your spare £14.

This game is horrible. As said in another review the graphics and overall gameplay is good. when i bought this game i thought it would be brilliant. But after 2 weeks of owning it i had enough. The levels are incredibly frustrating as they take 5 - 10 mins to do (10 min max.) but even if you slip up right at the end of the level you have to start all over again as there are no checkpionts. Controls are alright and 2 player is good because you get all the planes that you have to unlock on the 1 player. So unless you really want this game get it, but a lot of online reviews dislike it as I do.

ArmA: Queens Gambit (PC DVD)

i'm a big fan of bohemia interactive's productions! but this add-on is disappointing - wish they'd done away with the clumsy intros and cut-scenes and let us have a bigger cake with less of the sticky icing! this just doesn't feel like a proper expansion pack - yes, there are several very good missions but i felt i deserved more! i was just getting into it when the whole thing was suddenly over! only 3 single-player missions!!!

The Professor's Brain Trainer: Logic (Nintendo DS)

It is inferred that this game is similar to Dr Kawashima's Brain Training and Big Brain Academy - it is not. Nor has it much to do with Logic. It is woefully basic and has little appeal to anyone but the most junior players - well it does say suitable for those of three years old.

There are five games including counting dots, remember the picture and find the matching pictures. The manufacturer calls this "a series of fun interactive games" - I was bored in minutes.

This and its sister game - (yes, sadly I bought both) are very poor quality and I recommend avoiding them. Not a good way of blowing [...] a piece.

Mystery Detective (Nintendo DS)

I am an fan of Discworld and Monkey Island so it was a natural progression that when I got my DS I went looking for point and click games. This game has some great storylines and tricky puzzles to solve. There are great characters that you find out more about as the game goes on. Great puzzles, great images, great game!

A -TrainHX (Xbox 360)

When I first saw A-Train HX on the shelves of my local game store i laughed at it.

How good could a train simulation game with basic graphics be on the Xbox 360?

But mixed reviews of the game interested me and I decided to buy it. However, days later, every game shop I entered no longer stocked the game. It was either so popular that demand had caused shops to sell out or that it was a selling disaster and the shops had taken it off the shelves.

I decided that the game would be a cult hit and managed to get it off the internet and am very happy with it.

Now. The manual the game comes with is awful. It tells you what things do in the game, but not how to do them. But in the research I did before buying ... Read More:

This game is a simple turn-based-strategy game that reminds me most of the the isometric 'Tactics' games on the GBA (Final Fantasy Tactics, Onimusha Tactics, etc). It has pretty good graphics, better than the average 2.5D isometric game as it has some scaling effects, etc. And the gameplay is good, nothing novel is in there but there's a decent range of characters with a varied range of attacks and attributes. And that's it really. You play a level, level up your characters and progress to the next level. Any time you get stuck progressing through the game you can go back to a previous easier level and 'level up' your characters until they can complete the harder level. There's some great power-ups apparently but I could never get them to work and got bored ... Read More:

the game is not so bad it s long like most of it s kind ,you ll get more fun with sim and result don t come very fast ,it s a slow game for people with a lot of patience ,if you re retired, ill ,...
the logic in here is not obvious and it takes some time to figure how to do things ,patience is important to avoid boredom or complete non evolution of the game then you may never see the end
