I persisted with this for several hours, at the end of which I had not even got passed the first few levels of the training seriels. The controlsare so complicated and the levels are so complex that it'sjust confusing. Trying to land one of the moves, where you opposingly flick the nanchuk and remote is absolutely impossible to do outside of the training as the hint is switched off. Have tried to sell it.

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith with Wireless Controller (PS3)

If you are an Aerosmith fan then I am sure this will be a must have, but beware. The song list is relatively short (31 songs in main game, 41 songs including all bonuses) and as a result you can finish the whole game very quickly. Gameplay remains more or less unchanged from Guitar Hero III. It's still great for a fan to be able to play Sweet Emotion or Back in The Saddle but for those less keen on Aerosmith songs then it's probably best avoided.

Official Wireless Guitar Hero Les Paul Guitar Controller (Wii)

The Guitar is the same as the 1 that comes with Guitar Hero 3 + Guitar, and at the moment the Game plus guitar is £5 cheaper, so I would not recommend buying unless it is at lest £10 or more cheaper than the Game/Guitar.

I have this extra Guitar, bought from Amazon.fr but is was 20 euros cheaper at the time than buying the 1 with the game.

Can not see Why it is this price!
(The Guitar is excellent and great to have 2, but better buy the other (Guitar with game)you pay less money and have a spare game ;0) )

World Series of Poker 2008 - Battle for the Bracelets (PC DVD)

What a super price for this game, its excellent and nearly has everything a poker game should... APART from when you decide what move you are going to make on the table (bet, fold etc).

The clip showing your poker player looking at his chips and at other players (after you have decided what to do) takes what feels like an age and really ruins the game, it slows everything right down and makes it soooo boring. There is the option to put the game speed up, but this just makes everything go superfast and you can't tell whats going on.

Maybe the developers could bring out some firmware or something to fix this problem?? Otherwise I won't be playing the game again and if I want a poker fix I'll just play online.

Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses (Nintendo DS)

Whilst not my daughter's favourite game ever, this is a nicely organised game for girls who love the 12 Dancing princesses story. Much of it is platform based play and has a steady stream of challenges and obstacles to overcome. The characters are all recognisable from the movie and the soundtrack is bearable - just!. We did end up resorting to a cheats webpage after tears and frustration on one level that neither parent or child could work out how to get past it (although I admit I was not trying for that long!) The use of level codes does help you access different points in the game which is handy. The save game points are well thought through - an issue which needs addressing for so many nintendo games.

Shrek The Third (Wii)

I have a four year old son who is still mastering the controls of the Wii. The usual games that you can get for practising the Wii have boring graphics and he can't relate to them. However, with Shrek he totally loved playing it because the contols were easy and he loved being the knight and waving his sword around. If you are looking to get this for a teenager or adult then the other comments are correct. However, if you are wanting this as something you can play together with a toddler (my son enjoyed holding the controler and I held the Nunchuck for stearing) then I found it perfect. Thrillville just got better! The first thrillville was awsome, but this ones even better! The rides are better,the graphics are better and the parks are out of this world!!
