Lego: Indiana Jones (PS3)

I brought this game for my two boys who are both under 7 and they absolutely love it.

The game is obviously aimed at kids as the difficult level so far has been about right for my eldest. The levels are great fun as they can run around, collect coins, destroy things and occasionally solve the puzzles. With the free play option, all the chapters can be played over again and will enable your kids to search for the secret treasure, etc.

The graphics although not spectacular really do suit the game which I think does add to the feel. There are also little things that make my kids laugh, like Indy cowering when he goes near snakes. The one point I have against the game is that it only saves at the end of the chapter. But ... Read More:

excellent graphics, excellent game play, excellent online playing. excellent thought and general game design. this has kept me entertained for 9 months and counting. be warned, you may never see daylight again........

Aged 27 and 35 we both really enjoyed this game in two person mode, it was one of those where your dying to get home from work to play it. It took about a week of daily hour'ish' sessions to complete. And we plan to play it again very soon.

We just got the Starwars Saga one and we don't like that as much.

Call of Duty: World at War (PC)

Aged 27 and 35 we both really enjoyed this game in two person mode, it was one of those where your dying to get home from work to play it. It took about a week of daily hour'ish' sessions to complete. And we plan to play it again very soon.

We just got the Starwars Saga one and we don't like that as much.

I don't very often laugh out loud at games but it was hard not to with this one! i'm not a huge Star Wars fan to be honest but was lent this game to try. It's very very clever! the characters are so funny! i don't know what it is about Lego people but they make me laugh. I felt i played it more just to see what certain characters would look like!. To be honest i personally didn't think the game play was that great, its pretty standard running around, whacking things with your light saber but it has playability based on the concept alone!.

Once again the Lego PSP series the programmers have done the business. Whilst not an exact copy of the first 3 films, this game only falls short of probably the best game on the PSP - Lego Star Wars - by a whisker.

It still has the comedy combined some excellent problem solving which, whilst not too difficult, does on occasions make the grey matter work.

The Characters are excellent and the mumbled dialogue perfectly spoken with an accent which relates directly to the people in the film.

It is very difficult to put down and with the stirring theme song always on hand this is a must for any PSP game player.

O.K shooting mechanics,boring graphics,it lacks any unique stlye and no online achievements. Fast paced but ultimately nothing here that's superior to Gears of War. One more thing, where is the motion blur?

Just got this game for my grandsons to play, ages 6 and 4 they both love Lego Starwars on PC and Nintendo DS and Wii. All very excited, it installed ok, but won't play, error message about emulators? I've deleted and disabled everything I can think of, tried installing it on 3 other computers in the house. No joy, two very disappointed little boys and a frustrated granny and I can't send it back. Good to see other punters are as fed up as us. I give it no stars.

I bought this just recently very cheaply (£13 brand new) and if you ignore the flaky control system, it's basically a very good involving first person warshooter. Compared to medal of honor this was much more fun, with varied missions - the tank driving in particular was really atmospheric - although I cant find out how to replay that mission?
I can understand some reviewers getting frustrated with some of the control issues, but these don't really spoil the game, just be patient.
