Just amazing! I can't believe that this is running on the DS. It's so smooth. There's loads of gameplay in here as well. Definitely one of the best games I've played on the DS. A must for anyone!

As others have said - if you played Sacred and enjoyed it then you will like Sacred 2. It's been made to look very pretty and some have mentioned difficulties running it on their high end pc systems. Despite the minimum specs it runs very well on medium settings on my lowly 1.8ghz dual core vista laptop - more so after the latest patch last week.
As for gameplay - kill monsters, pick up loot and go shopping at your local merchants and then repeat. The storyline is not as engrossing as the original Sacred but this is an action RPG - not a novel. Enjoy it. I am!

I've played a few of the shorter campaigns, and found them really enjoyable. Currently playing the Peninsular War, which was a bit dicey for awhile (close to losing very early on - and Madrid has changed hands several times!), but Wellington has just turned up and it looks a bit better... Mind you, I do have a couple of cavils: firstly, that Napoleon's early campaigns in Italy aren't included, and secondly that you don't get a game like AGEOD's American Civil War where you get to fight the whole thing, and decide about your economy etc. However, that said, it's the sort of game on PC that I've been looking for, for a long long time!

its important to put things in context you will only like this game if this is your sort of thing. Looking at it it looks like it could be very dull but no once you have grasped the basic rules of sailing worked out what sails to use when (if you did not know)then the racing is great fun.
the multiplayer aspect has also spawned a whole online community where you can in effect join a virtual reggata and complete in an online sailing tournement so thats great.
in summary yes looks like its going to be very dull like some train simulator but no its really good boat racing game . well worth the money especially for the online aspect..

The pakaging on this game is so boring and uninspiring i haven't even bothered to take the disc out of its box. Game designers need to remember that they have to attract the customer from the first glance. Images of complicated game play will not do.

This is one of the most dificult games I have played, but somehow although it was well written and the puzzles were in the main logical unlike the previous Sherlock Holmes games I could not relate to the characters. There may be one bug where I was stuck in the Director's office and could not access the map, tried a walkthrough and had done everything, eventually helped by the folk at "gameboomers" with a save file. The only other comment is that some of the hot spots were extreemly dificult to find.
Only 3 stars as I did not enjoy it very much but it certainly made me think and it was a satisfyingly long game.

This is a really really short game but then i was using the spacebar all the time.. the spacebar shows all the hotspots and items on the screen which can eliminate any frustration but at the same time makes the game very easy. The graphics are great, the backdrops are stunning esp later in the game. It is seriously lacking in atmosphere for a game like this and not scary at all but very pretty nontheless. There are a few stupid puzzles like trapping the coachman and a bit too much random combining stuff and a couple of the puzzle puzzles are impossible to do without looking on the net unless maybe if u have a degree in ancient history and symbols. The game has reasonable voice acting and decent sound.
But the ending!?!? This is officially ... Read More:
