Tony Hawks Pro Skater 4 (PC)

This game may seem good as soon as you see the intro but belive me its not all that good. its pretty good for a while but after you play it for a bit it gets boring. the graphics arent bad whitch just won't do now. you can't even get off your board. I say if your a skateboard fan its OK but other wise go for tony hawks under grond!

This expansion pack takes the established game play of Battlegrounds and moves it, literally, into the Arena of Episode II. The inclusion of original sound design, and a finessed game engine, embellishes an already successful formula. And the game will, once the player has become familiar with the interface, consume you (to paraphrase Master Yoda). Brilliant.

Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri (Mac)

Many of us strategy gamers cut our teeth on Civilisation and Civilisation II. Each end with the winning faction reaching Alpha Centuari with a colony on a starship.

In Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri, you play out the space colonisation mission. Unfortunately, Earth seems to have succumbed to warfare and enivronmental collapse by the time you arrive, and with the murder of the starship's captain, the colonists split into seven factions, and land at seperate sites. From then on, it's a tooth-and-claw struggle against rival factions, and planet's exotic wildlife. Many of the technologies you took for granted towards the end of Civilisation have to be rediscovered, such as flight and spaceflight.

I am a great fan of the Tomb Raider games for Mac. However, this game although graphically better is very much like the older tomb raider games. Having said that lara has new skills and the ability to improve her skills with practice. This game is a must for avid tomb raider fans.

Tomb Raider Chronicles

The best-looking Tomb Raider game for the Mac so far, and with new moves making the whole thing a lot more realistic (including unarmed combat). BUT - it doesn't work well enough on OS X that you can finish the game without having to reboot in OS 9 to get past some bits, there are a few 'save bugs' where if you save the game at certain points you can't continue properly, and some of the puzzles are a bit fake - not as satisfying as the earlier games. Worth a play, though.
