I really wanted to liem this game, the story looks good and the game is atmospheric but sadly its just another console port where the developers couldn't be bothered to make the controls work on the PC. The controls and even the tutorial hints only work with a concole controller (how many PCs have a green button?). In addition the game keeps forcing you to change between first and thrid person views as some actions can only be carried out in one view and some in the other. Third person movement is painful and clumsy and hand-to-hand combat is terrible. First person works OK when you can use it and the healing and inventory interfaces are good.
In short - don't buy this game; get FEAR or Bioshock instead.

I've played the first M:I game for the PS1, and that was okay, yet showed great room for improvement. When I heard Operation Surma was coming around, I really wanted to see what the game had to offer. Little did I know, I was in for a big disappointment.
The gameplay mechanics are okay...for about the first 10 minutes. You're expected to keep your eye on the radar AND watch out for what's ahead of you, but you can't do both, now can you? The radar works very much like MGS's Soliton radar, except in does not tell you where enemies are stationed or their field of vision, leading to easy frustration. You have no idea if an enemy can see you or not. Sometimes, it doesn't even matter. If you hide behind a wall out of enemy vision, he will still ... Read More:

what can i say? This is my favourite game of all time!! i have it on both DC and Gamecube.
I originally bought this game on the dreamcast and was IMMEDIATELY sucked in! The beginning is so exciting! Your controller will become un-put-down-able!! The storyline and characters are gorgeous and there's just so much excitement and adventure in the game (well you are an over-ambitious pirate, what can stop you?)! And it gets better! The Soundtrack is amazing! I really couldn't sum this game up in a review but i'll try.
Basically you're a young nobody who wished to explore the world with your fiery best friend, Aika, and a strange turn of events lead you to break into an impossibly dangerous city and rescue someone! Then eventually you ... Read More:

This game is just so brilliant and there is so much to do and is a big step from the two previous budokai"s with new playable characters such as Goku"s dad,Bardock,Frieza"s brother,Cooler and Omega Shenron. the main mode,Dragon Universe lets you play through the story and unlock new characters, skills and stages. in duel mode you can fight against the computer,a friend or watch the computer fight, earn money in the world tournament, edit and buy skills to customize the characters into ultimate fighters, an option of english or japanese voice actors and with great gameplay and graphics make this the best dragonball z game on ps2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Before I get to the review I'm only twelve; none-the-less to say I'm not a transformer junkie.
I never owned this game but my brother did we used to take turns playing it until he moved away. The graphics are awesome and very crisp (good job Atari!) the sound is something to be desired but acceptable. The levels are
huge and very detailed with hidden enemies, data-cons, and mini-cons scattered about the map. I can't wait until my copy comes in the mail. This game is a must have!

I throughly enjoy this game, at times challenging with various puzzles and challenges as well as Olympic game events included which range from the triple jump to toad football. The events do need a degree of skill and I was totally frustrated at first but persevered and have managed to progress quite well [although admittedly stuck at the moment]. The characters are good and fairly true to the original characters. I do have to agree that the camera angles and ability to move it leave something to be desired and this does hamper the game at certain points. Movement of characters is through the use of the nunchuck joy stick and you can swap between Asterix and Obelix and at times you do have to use a certain character for a task. Dogmatix acts as a guide and is sometimes hard to ... Read More:
forget about Street Fighter or Guilty Gear, if you are into 2D fighting games then this is for you. graphics wise almost comparable to the other SNKP game Neo Geo Battle Coliseum (which i have as well) and the brilliant Capcom vs SNK2 and Marvel vs Capcom2. some of the classic and well-loved SNK characters are here plus bonuses and features (extra charcters, ending, music, etc.) not found on the Arcade version. (though havn't seen one yet.) controls can be a while getting used to but i did liked the "feel" of it having been a SF fan for a long while. this game: enjoyable, sharp & fast-paced. go get one!
