Sid Meier's Pirates! (PC CD)

We all love Pirates of the Caribbean, so I bought this as a timely game for Christmas, accepting that other people's reviews already told me about its limits. It turned out to be huge fun. I doubt we'll still be playing it by Easter, but the range of activities (fights, sailing, trading, career, dancing) gives it a lot of appeal. Most families will find this great value. Pity it doesn't build to a higher level.

this game is one of my faveroute games of all time it has some amazing ideas which WILL be stolen in future releases thins like u have to controll to blink other wise the screen starts to go blury the inventory the way you can combine things like tape to glowsticks then stick them to walls or pierce a botle of lighter fluid then throw it and set fire to the trail. all this stuff you have to do

Sonic Adventure 2: Battle (GameCube)

Unlike other sonic games which are plain stupid really this is allways been my favorite ive had this game for ages 3 years atleaste and finally writing a review because finally getting the time.
Right this game is exelent because Hero mode you play as Sonic,Tails,Knuckles-Dark Shadow, Rouge, Eggman.
I have completed both stories but enough about all of this time to tell you why it is the 2nd best game ever.
The gameplay as sonic with speed action homing attack bouncing about rocks and knuckles gameplay is searching for 3 piecies of the master emerald which will keep you searching for ages with enimies to destroy on the way with rap music to keep you going on his levels-Tails gameplay is good you play in his plane which tranforms ... Ah I love the smell of Bacon in the Morning!

How can you not love a game with a tag line like that?

Genius turn based combat which is fun in 1 player mode but comes into it's own in multiplayer - it may be a 9 year old PS1 game (remember them?) but, after a few beers, when the boys are around, this is always brought out before Guitar Hero, Buzz et al. and is always played for longer too.

It's fast and fun and Rik Mayall's voiceovers are hilarious!

The random landscape generator makes sure that every game is different.

If you come accross this for less than a fiver, buy it. You wont regret it!

Simply, its just a Unlooked treasure of a game.
Myself and hundreds of others count ourselves lucky to play such a gem of a game!

If its not too late, try this game, definitely one of the best games out there, and one of the best games on a truly unique console, the GC!

Crashday (PC DVD)

I'll keep this one short, as all that is required to say is pretty much covered in the title.

This game is BIG TIME fun from the off - you'll be driving around like a complete loon in no time! (and multi-player mode over the web is even better).

However, despite the cars, the tracks and even a track editor (believe it!) you'll still probably tire of Crashday sooner than you expect..

There's nothing much wrong with it - just not quite got the staying power, despite impressive gfx, handling and frankly daft (cool) tracks!

Definitely worth a look - just don't expect longevity from it.

Neverwinter Nights: The Shadow of Undrentide Expansion Pack

The Neverwinter Nights game is not complete without this and "Hordes of the Underdark" expansion packs. You will need to have the main Neverwinter Nights game to play this, as this is an add on game. It carries on from where NWN finishes (so you dont need to buy it untill you have completed the first one) and moves the story on just that little bit further. However, you can start this game without completing the first one, if you want to, as it is a completly new story, but that would be like reading book 2 before book 1. This add on game gives you extra "abilities" I.E. in the main NWN game you cant control your henchmans inventory but with this add on it gives you that ability. If you are a quick thinker this is the game for you!
It is hard but fun I say.
Since i'm kind ill give you a cheat, when you are cream the rabbit [when against boss] press b to throw Cheese [cream's pet]at eggy

Worms - Platinum

Worms platinum, the origonal first ever version might sound poor but it's pretty amazing. You've still got good wepons such as cluster bomb , basooker, grenade, prod, parachute and about twenty others! I got this game about 8 years ago and have played on it continuesly ever since. This game also has a comedy side to it aswell. Say if a worm throws a grenade, it hits a wall and bounces back at the same worm that threw it, then another worm shouts in a really high voice "stupid". But to sum it up, this game will make anyone laugh from 4 year olds to what ever age. You really should buy this game and you'll be proud that you have!
