Best of Doom

Let me sum this up in one line: I bought this in 2000. It's 2007 now, and my room still echoes to the sound of Shotguns slaying Demons.

DooM is phenomenal. You cannot put into words how good this game is. Draw the curtains, turn off the lights, and plunge into Hell head first. The game contains most of the levels from the PC versions of Ultimate DooM and DooM II, with only a few levels dropped (mostly the very tall ones). However, it also has exclusive Playstation Only levels, some of which are Secret. All monsters except the Arch Vile are there, and to make things interesting DooM II creatures appear in Ultimate DooM levels (especially on high difficulty). Total Annihilation Commander Pack

Total Annihilation was a massive hit by Cavedog. I first bought the product in 1997 (8 years ago) making quite an old game, but none the less its still a great game. The graphics are not as pixelated or worn as other older games such as Warcraft, and can still compete with some of the reigning games today.

Over the last 8 years ive found myself playing this game for a countless number of hours. Its mulitplayer provides endless choices and strategies with the AI constantly adapting and giving you new ideas and ways of building a battle scene.

The release of Core Contingency and Battle Tactics only made the collection better with more maps and units to satisfy your needs. It is nearly impossible to get to use all the different units ... Read More:

Cluedo: Murder At Blackwell Grange (PC CD)

The graphics of the game are incredible, especially in the murder scenes! The music on the other hand is downright annoying and gets on your nerves very quickly. The options of play are very good because although the classic format is challenging and fun, it does get a little repetive after some time. Overall though the game is excellent and is a must buy!

I didn't know much about this game, except the rpg element, and at ten pounds I thought i'd try it. It's an original concept, an online rpg without the online part. That's about the only originality though. There are no random battles as such, you know when you will have to fight by either seeing the monster first, or a gate, which disappears to reveal a monster. Since I paid a tenner, i'm not too disappointed by the 20 hours(short life span for an rpg) it took to fully complete everything, but there are some items I cannot even use yet, as i assume you have to buy later parts, which i have never encountered in a game yet. The time trial part was quite good though, as at least it was a challenge, but whether i want to fork out 3 more times to see the story's conclusion ... Read More:

Neverwinter Nights

I love this game, it kept me going for hours on end.

The graphics and music put together an excellent atmosphere, especially in the spooky areas, such as the zombie-filled Beggars Nest, the haunted Charwood area, and the many caves and catacombs you enter.

You can choose your own character (gender, race, class ect...)
The Druid class is favourite, as you can summon your own animal to accompany you and fight in battles.

Great graphics, great quests and story. Amazing.

I love this game, it kept me going for hours on end.

Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive (PC CD)

Desperados is one of the best games i have ever played and i have played loads. It is well thought out and extremley complex. You really have to think about you strategy and carry it out well, or else you will be discovered and have a realistic, fun gun fight, ending in your inevitable death, if your a beginner, Top Marks Man

Jenga (Nintendo DS)

We've had the original wooden Jenga for years and thought we'd give this a go as a multiplayer game. However, after spending 15mins fiddling around we could not get the connection to work between our machines. Went and got instructions for game only to find that to play the multiplayer version each player has to have their own Jenga game as well!!! So if 4 of us want to play it's going to be a mere steal at approximate eighty pounds .... sheeeesh!

I have never come across this before so please be aware. If you just want single player okay but we feel this should have been made clear on the front of the box. I took it back to the shop and exchanged.
