I bought this game thinking it would be an improvement on the original .the original you could build forts you could allocated generals you could pick tactics you could take prisoners you had a choise of several different maps to play on and you had the choise to play a direct conversion of the board game. All Risk II is is a direct conversion (alright i'll admit a very good conversion) of the board game with a very few add ons. the only advantage this game has over the original is that it has a hotseat option which the original dosn't.This should have been so much more just buy the original

I bought this game on the basis of other reviews talking as if it was the saviour F1 gamers had been waiting for. It simply isn't.

I don't want to talk about the graphics or sound because there are no longer any REALLY bad graphics or sound on the current generation of consoles (at least if you've been gaming for the last 20 years and have seen what really bad graphics used to look like!).

I'll get straight to the point: the gameplay is so infuriating. Put the game on the hardest AI difficulty level and even if you're in a Ferrari, Williams or Mclaren with an optimum set-up you'll be passed on the straights extremely rapidly by every other car (after a few laps you'll be at the back). It's so stupid and has nothing to ... Read More:

Best Of Heart Of Darkness

I first played this game when it was first released and loved it. I loved it so much that I tried finding somewhere to buy it, but didn't and never got a copy :( until now :D I bought a mint condition copy off a seller on here and it's brought back so many wonderful memories.

Even my 14 Y/O cousin can't get enough. That's saying something. He's very much "games about cars, fighting or killing only please". He can't stop playing it now! It's all he does when he comes to visit.

The graphics are great, too. But I do agree with the user above/below who mentions the auto-save feature. That is quite annoying, but you get used to it and sometimes are thankful for the fact. The only other bad this I can say is that the gameplay is ... Read More:

Ive been watching DBZ for a few years now and i love it. This game is justice for DBZ. Anyone who is'nt too sure if they like it should play this game, i am 100% confident that you will love it. What makes it better is that there will be a DBZ movie out august next year.

The Matrix: Path of Neo (Xbox)

I bought this game because I liked the Enter the Matrix game and believed that this would improve on that. How wrong I was. The graphics are below average for the Xbox, the cut scenes are a joke and the controls are mind numbingly awkward and repetitive. Just to tell u how bad it is [...]I still feel cheated. I dont usually write reviews but I had to warn the public about this turkey. Avoid if you can.

I can't say that I have any problem with this game what so ever! Oh and by the way I happened to grab an english version of this game in the United States! The story line and fighting sequences went together hand in hand with the series. though I have already beaten this game time and time again I do still come back to it. I have no need for any other video games any more. If I did have to say something bad about this game I would have to say that the combo moves are a bit difficult to perform, let alone memorize. A true gamer wouldn't complain though, because this helps to exercise memory within the mind, and also gives the gamer better timing and cordination. As a fellow gamer I seriously do recommend buying this game, as soon as possible.

Blade Dancer (PSP)

Now I know there isn't much choice out there right now for RPG's on the PSP what with regurgitations of FF1 and FF2 and Breath of Fire 3, and the abominable Valkyre series, but I found this game tucked away in the back of my local game store. I was actually hoping to order a copy of Crisis Core FFVII and found this instead.
I have played it CONSTANTLY and have found it both absorbing and time-consuming. The characters could do with a little 'rounding off' and some of the game graphics are a little off (odd white line between trees/plants/ground) but this is more than made up for in the battle strategy and the crafting system. Yes, crafting. You only have to buy an item once, have it appraised and then collect/purchase what you need to make it more than once! Far ... Read More:

this is one of the best turn based games i have ever played. i don't usually play games alot on my PC as i have numerous games consoles but this game has forced me the by a new keyboard for my laptop because some of the keys are beggining to wear away. this game however only reaches it's true potential when it is teamed up with the conquests expansion pack which really helps to keep the game fresh and you playing much longer. money well spent.
