The Unreal series is legendary amongst gamers: with over 7 million titles sold in its name. And now, you can pick up this version for under £10!
But is it worth it? Well... Single player: if you're on your own, this won't keep you entertained for very long. The bots are reasonably intelligent once you turn the difficulty up, the weapons are cool, and there's some very enjoyable levels. However, the single player 'campaign' (a championship) is short lived, and there really isn't that much to keep you coming back for more. If single player is all you want, then this game would only be worth a 3, or 4/10.
Offline multiplayer: this is pretty damn fun! Fast, frenetic gameplay, typical of console shooters, but unlike, say, ... Read More:

Well, NWN is a magnificent game. Theoretically it should go on for ever; module after module. Although NWN2 is in the pipeline for 2006.
This edition is annoying though. On my CD key code I worked out there were 288 possibilities, because A's look like R's, D's-O's -zeros are indistinguishable from each other. Anyway on my 128th entry it worked.
The game play is wonderful if you wanted to bring pen and paper D&D to computer then this is how you do it. The camera angles and manipulation are great. The story line is good(the expansions are better). There are some fantastic modules outhere on the web , for more and more quests. Go-online and play with some mates or strangers.
Ignore the problem with the Key-code it ... Read More:

A great disappointment after several years playing the previous versions.
In my view, almost unplayable. Screenplay is much too fast, with little figures scuttling like mice around a screen which changes in a flick, so that you're quite unable to follow what's going on in the big picture.
Anyone old enough to remember the classic space game "Elite" will know what I mean when I suggest that the more the makers try to "over-sophisticate" a game, the less fun it becomes. This falls into that trap.
I would gladly play its predecessor for hours if it ran on my new computer. But this version...no.
I could go on, but I'm as bored with writing this as I am with the game.

I bought this game a few weeks ago as an alternative to CMR3, which only allows you to drive a Focus in championship mode (dumbest idea ever). It's ok at first when you're driving the slower 1.6 l cars, there's some very nice graphics and you get a good sense of the 'weight' of the vehicle as you throw it around a hairpin. Mind you, once you get to drive the 2.0l beasts it's a different story. The flaws in the physics engine become all too apparent - clip a rock or a small bump at any greater than moderate speed and the car will often soar into the air as if it's made of paper. Furthermore, some of the tracks are just too narrow - there's barely room for your car, which means that you're frequently inches from clipping a rock/tree/roadsign and being thrown into ... This is a really good beyblade game. I bought it off amazon just the other day, and have been playing it none stop. You control Tyson as you wander round fighting battles. It follows the G-Revolution tv show style, and takes you through the show. The graphics are decent and the battle style is awesome. If you love beyblade, get this game..because i did!!

Having played Never Winter Nights and also Dungeon Siege I had decided I needed another RPG to keep me going. Temple of Elemental Evil seemed to fit the bill. Reading other reviews it looked good. Fantastic opening credits, looking forward to the game I started my quest! I found the 'taking turns' method of combat extremely frustrating!! Having got used to having all my people pile in to fight the bad guys, it seemed very slow and time consuming waiting for each good guy/bad guy to have their turn. 'Oh I say old chap, is it my turn' 'Gosh no, I must stand here and let the bad guy hit me!' A list of characters appears at the top of the screen; the first one lights up, hey it's his turn; then he has to wait until every one else has had a go before he can move again. Read More:
