When you first play it, it doesn't seem so bad. Then it gets bad. Missions seem hard, gameplay is limited. You really do expect it to be a little like GTA. But, of course, Reflections are enemies with Rockstar when it comes to free roaming, shooting, driving games. Then, the more you play it and practice, the better it gets. There is nothing like being in a high speed pursuit, then pit maneuvering a trafiic car and watch the cops plough into it, causing mass destruction. It's absolutly great.
Then there's the downside. Driver, as a series, has been commonly picked on for many reasons. First is that they say they're trying to be too much like GTA. Then there's the stupid cops, the way Tanner (the main character) walks, the fact that in ... Read More:

My Horse and Me (Wii)

I think this is a great game but I don't think it has a whole lot of replay value after the competitions are all over. If there were a sequel I'd love to see cross country courses (not just the usual ones, where you go from one to the next, but like in real life where you have to turn in different directions and sometimes double back on yourself) but that's only a minor complaint, since there are enough showjumping courses to give you something to get your teeth into. It would have been nice to have some form of story mode, although sometimes it's nice to play without one. The mini games are OK, but kind of repetitive, and the Spot The Difference seems impossible to do!

Test Drive Unlimited (Xbox 360)

Initially I like many others had a bit of a time getting to grips with the game physics when driving on this game. Eventually i got used to it and i really enjoy those moments when you find yourself on a clear stretch of road in a fast car like the Koenigsegg or Zonda. Though these things were fun eventually I started to lose my temper with the braking on some cars and the more than less unhelpful GPS system. When doing a race in a Mclaren SLR(a car known for having extremely hard brakes) im having to put the brakes on before i can even see the corner on the screen and the only reason i know its there is because i went straight through it the first time with both the main brake and handbrake on.The GPS seems to have been built with the idea that your going ... Hasbro Compilation: Monopoly/Boggle/Yahtzee/Battleships (Nintendo DS)

Was relatively disappointed in this as the gameplay could be a lot better.

Monopoly - I found Monopoly quite confusing in terms of buying and selling properties - the instructions aren't clear and I ended up swapping properties I didn't want to swap in error.

Boggle - this was why I bought this game - loved Boggle as a kid. It's quite good but it has a really annoying menu where it's difficult to select the game you want to play!

Yahtzee - this is great - faithful to the original game with a choice of backgrounds

Battleships - probably the best configured game of the 4 - just a pity it's the most boring game!

Overall it's not bad - if you like the 'real-life' versions then you'll like this. I just ... Read More:

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 (PS2)

At first I was'nt sure if the game will be in japanese or english (character voice) , but i decided to take the risk and see what it would be ! after it arrived i quickly opened the game to check out how it'l be.....it came out in english and since i put the game on until i closed it i never got bored ! even for 1 second,u cant even get bored at the loading part ! plus you can play in many diffrent types of fighting games and there are many arenas and you can customize your characters skills and tricks!
i think that i would never forget this game or give it away...as long as my ps2 WORKS !

Unreal Tournament 2004 (PC DVD)

Just simply an awesome game. I mean, unreal 2003 was good to begin with, so when this came out, my jaw literally dropped. For one thing, they brought back the brilliant ASSULT, so we can all kill eachother while killing objectives as well. second was the ONSLAUGHT mode, and the vehicles dreamed up are simply the best I have seen in a long time. And if that wasn't enough, all you need to do is pick up an old pc gamer dvd or go online for a wealth of modifications. in the time I had this game i never got bored. Marvellous.

GTR Evolution (PC)

RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 (PC CD)

I brought a game and i could get this one half price, so i did. The game is in 2d its not as good as rollercoaster tycoon 3 but its not boring either i still play it sometimes but i couldnt play it for months as i could rollercoaster tycoon 3, my advice is buy it if you havent got the requirments for rollercoaster3.

The Matrix: Path of Neo (PS2)

When i first saw this game on a shelf, i was in two minds about it. Crappy movie tie in? Or good attempt?
This game is neither, its a brill adventure with guns and kung-fu. The ability to slow down time is obviously a must. Best bits include diving out of cover in slomo with two sub-machine guns, then smashing someone into the furthest wall with a flick of the finger. Highly recommended.

Crayola Treasure Adventures (Nintendo DS)

Definatly a game for the younger DS user (except the speed colouring which needs daddies help to unlock next world!) my daughter loves playing on this game (age6)..I will second the view of other reviewer that it would be good if they could save some of their masterpieces.
