You just gotta try this game, pray to the gods you dont like it.
I quit playing this game and took up real life just over 4 months ago, life is better now that I am free.
I've racked up 4000 hours play time over the past 1.5 years, that's 166 days, nearly 6 months constant play time... I obviously totally mastered the game, made hundreds of friends, yes friends, (they might be online but I still know, respect and talk to them like I would any other friend). Because of this game I lost my families respect, my girlfriend and did much worse in my GCSE's.
In a sense I do not regret buying it, but life is better without... believe me.
I don't class myself as a gamer or a geek but yet this game destroyed ... Read More:

If, like my son (who I occasionally see emerge from his bedroom), you love WOW then buy it! You're saving pounds and you don't have to worry about taking out a subscription. It also means you have a means to blackmail your kid into cleaning his room up! :-)

Having read the reviews you can see a mix of fan-positive to hateful-negative - but not on what's to be implemented in WoTLK, but the WoW universe and game as a whole.
I would suggest trying the game and WoTLK yourself and coming to your own conclusions - because whatever one person feels after playing the game you may experience something totally different.
The number of subscribers speaks volumes in my opinion. Even those with negative opinions admit to spending weeks' worth of PLAYED hours in the game. The only time you'll find a single player or indeed, another MMO with as much survivability and addictiveness as WoW will be WoW2.
However, always remember there's going to be players who have a lot more time on their ... Read More:
or 4... At least I think that's how long I spent playing Diablo II in every spare moment I could find, I'm not sure, I kinda lost track of time for a bit.
The concept behind making Diablo II so popular is ridiculously simple. Make an engine that can generate nearly infinite numbers of uniquely different magical items and people will play until the end of time trying to obtain a sword or a suit of armour that's just that little bit better than what you already have.
The stories and cut scenes that drive the game forward and link the various Acts are superbly done and contribute in some way to dispelling the "nothing but a clickfest" label that the Diablo games have been cast as.
Many spells and abilities are only available at level 30 ... Read More:
ive been playing Diablo for years but the Expansion (especially on patch 1.11b) is incredible. It blows your mind away. With the two new character classes-druid and assassin- and hundreds of new items, this addictive game is a great play and can keep you going for hours.

Where to start? How about the the original Warcraft game and how awesome it was. It was an innovative Strategy game that was launched back in the 90's, with a great storyline and awesome missions. You even had the option of choosing the human (alliance) or the orcs (horde) races. The second edition "Tides of Darkness" had enhanced graphics and gameplay, and came out during the same decade. It and was a blast. The 21st century version of the game came out as Warcraft III, followed by an expansion. The most incredible features of Warcraft III included awesome 3D graphics, new races (dwarves, undead, elves...), "neutral" armies/enemies, online play, and most importantly, as you should know, the usage of heroes - which I believed sparked the idea of creating an online RPG (Role Playing ... Let me get this straight about Warcraft III - I don't want to be writing this review. I'm tired, I haven't slept, and I'd really rather be playing the game than writing about it. It's addictive, it's epic - hell, even the voice acting is OK. Is that good enough?
Damn it.
The game starts off with a cut scene that is of hugely high quality - just like the ones that pepper the game. It's stirring stuff, which brings to life the world of Orcs and the Undead in a way that reveals to a non-fan like me what RPG and Tolkien fans have been fervently imagining all along. If my mind's eye worked as well as these cut scenes, I'd be off to get an armful of Dragonlance, Terry Brookes and Tolkien right now.
The story of Warcraft III begins with a bad dream. A ... Read More:

It is Time - without further haste I beseech you, take up Arthas' continuing journey into madness (as well as other journeys), lest we all be left in the land of unfinished plots.
Warcraft III: Frozen Throne opens with another of those exquisite cinematics that Blizzard have become renowned for in their Warcraft series. Thus having set the scene, you take control of the Warden, a new night elf hero (there's one new hero for each race). The plot then takes you through both human and undead campaigns.
A reworked engine from Blizzard for crafting a more RPG guided game has allowed the Orcs their own story line that turns equally dark. The first episode comes with Frozen Throne - two subsequent episodes will become available online at a later date.
Its best RTS ever!! This game has got its own tv channel in Korea. Its 10 years old but who cares? I would compare it to chess in terms of quality and age :)..
