Age of Conan (PC)

Ok, here is my honest impression of the game. It's fun, it tries something different, it looks beautiful if you have a computer that can run it from medium settings on up, and it has the potential for some of the best PvP conflicts in any game I have ever seen.

The downside is that it's not quite there yet, I pre-ordered the collectors edition and I've had over a month of incredibly enjoyable gameplay. But I've also been frustrated by bugs, and the fact that some of the classes don't seem quite right yet, partly due to bugs and partly due to inefficient balancing from Funcom.

If you want a perfect game my suggestion is to wait a few months more until the major issues have been ironed out and they start releasing new ... Read More:

Soul Bubbles (Nintendo DS)

Soul bubble was one of those games i wasnt too sure about trying.. but im so glad i did.. its a pretty simple concept, and once you learn the controls, its easy enough to play, but it still manages to keep your interest. It makes use of the touch screen and the buttons (and the microphone at the start :D) Also as a left handed player i am impressed that the ABXY buttons can be used as well as the directional buttons. Each level is like a maze you have to negotiate your bubble (with the souls contained) around. There are obstacles such as fire, sticky plants and enemies which you have to deal with, but using your masks (create new bubble, deflate, and cut)

Tomb Raider: Anniversary (Wii)

Played the original briefly on the ps1 years ago. I didn't really get into all that much, but with this version I can really appreciate how good the game is, The gameplay, puzzles and graphics are all very well done. The combat is top notch, with lots of evasive manouvres and special attacks to do. i couldn't quite do it very well on ps1 version, but maybe it was just me. But I do recommend this game, its excellent.

Tomb Raider: Anniversary (PSP)

The PSP is made for the Tomb Raider series of games. The quick interplay, and graphics, are simply a dream and the game flows well. I was impressed with TR Legend and wondered what Anniversary would be like. I shouldn't have worried, it performed superbly. One are, for me, where Anniversary lacks is in terms of interaction with vehicles etc , but as this virtually an updated version of the very first TR that I played on PS1 on those years ago I'm not complaining.

Please, please, please can we have a new Tomb Raideron PSP soon?

Pony Friends (Nintendo DS)

...........isn't a bad game,however could be ALOT better. Firstly, there aren't many things you can do per day. Also, the game can get slightly boring. I think 6-9 year-old girls will enjoy it. All you do in it is look after a pony,clean it and take it on rides.

Top Trumps: Dr Who (Nintendo DS)

This game is very boring for 6-9 years. I'm a big fan of doctor who,
but I'm disappointed. If you've got top trumps you can get bored with it
after 2 days.I finished all the levels after 3 days. When this game came out, I really wanted it, but now I wish i'd never bought it! Theres no
use unlocking the minigames, because you will have already done them on the bonus rounds after each level!

LEGO Star Wars (PS2)

... More fun than it should be or could ever be expected. Great humour and it doesn't tarnish the star wars name (unless your a super-star wars movie nerd) As a star wars fan i think i can say that. This is just a really enjoyable game especially if played with a friend.

Championship Manager 08 (PC CD)

This game franchise is fast becomming redundant, I have to admit that my laptop might not be as powerful as newer pc out there but the football manager 2008 game runs smoothly and gives you much better game. In this game I have found it nearly impossible to buy anyone from overseas and get a work permit, you cannot see the game played on screen like other games you cannot customise the training timetables, the game plods from on day to another and sometimes takes forever. I managed to do a whole weekends worth of washing up before I got from tuesday 08:00 to weds 08:00. Without some of the changes made to the game like there have been made to FM '08 like the different scouting network, and with the option of a feeder clubs, the game feels very dated only with some nuances ...
