Championship Manager 2006 (PS2)

OMG! For a price like this there is no way you cannot buy this game! It is the most immersive and addictive Champ Manager game i have ever played. Also, just make sure you buy Bertrand Demarconnay from AS Monaco Youth as he is the best buy you will ever make (apart from buying this game in the first place)!

This is a good, solid game. Nothing fancy, just does exactly what it says on the tin. Its an enjoyable FPS, plenty of things to shoot at, blow up, and cause havoc with. It is pretty short, but when you throw in the multiplayer stuff, its got reasonable longevity.
I enjoyed the plot, and you have/ gain some nifty abilities and weaponry throughout the game.
Interestingly, this was supposed to be a Deus Ex game, and both feels and plays like one (although the interactive element has been stripped away)

If you like a good old fashioned shooter, this ones for you............

Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen 2

Ive read other peoples reviews of Blood Omen 2 and can see their is a variation of opinions. The people that think this game sucks i crazy because how often does a game come about that has a bad guy as the character you control and how often is it a cool one??? Kain looks so evil and just makes you wanna be nasty. The storyline also is really interesting although legacy of kain defiances is better so hey why not buy both? The games, characters, sounds and gameplay is great. The only downfall of the game is the slightly bellow standard graphics (not too much of a problem and that ther arnt enough of the series!!! Fantastic game and hope there are more to come in the future.

Hitman: Contracts (Xbox)

I'm a huge fan of the Hitman Games, and was eager to get my hands on the third edition (Contracts). After working through the first half of the missions and on to the second half, I started getting the sense I had seen some of the missions before. Went back to the first Hitman and low and behold, nearly all of the missions are direct copies of those in the first game. If youve not played the first Hitman theres no problems, however anyone who has will see these copies.

Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend (Xbox)

When i first played it took a while to get used to the controls, but when you do it's great!! Before playing i went to Croft Manor, i was a little disappointed when you have to complete the first level in order to open doors. But the assault course is really fun and challenging. All In All I Loved IT!!!!

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver (PS)

This is one of the best games you can ever play.

You play as "Raziel",
After the intro, you will find your-self in the underworld talking to the "Elder God".
He will instruct you in how to survive in this World of Nosgoth.
You start with nothing, but basic abilities, such as: jump, crawl, etc...
The only main ability you gain is to reave enemy's souls, once you kill them.
You will get more abilities as you progress in the game.

Those abilities will give you access to levels previously unreachable.
The glyphs are other special abilities that you can gain, if you solve a puzzle in the hidden levels (Spoiler), but i am not going to spoil it.

Conflict Vietnam (Xbox)

This game is really bad!!! It takes ages to kill someone!!!

The graphics are really robotic and bad!!!

You have to take care of your teamates, which is bad because they dont kill anybody, they just folow you!!!! Dont waste your money!!!!

Championship Manager 2006 (PC CD)

Having been a fan of the Championship Manager series since the days of Championship Manager 2 all the way back in the 95/96 season it disappoints me that I now have to change my allegiance.

I have been quite contented with the 01/02 version of the game but decided it was time for an update, but I find with this new and updated version that everything that made Championship Manager great has been taken away.

The editor has been removed, one of the best parts of the old game was being able to create your own players or update the database to keep it accurate.

Anyone wishing to manage a nation, which is likely considering the season being a World Cup year will be disappointed as this has also been axed.
