Not many would think of the Sims as a strategy game--maybe it is just a game to muck around on, running or ruining peoples' lives.
However, there is a strategic element to helping your Sims bring in the right money to run their household successfully, make friends and advance in the job ladder.

The game is fun for all ages; you create a Sim, or a family of Sims, move them into a house and decorate. Then the game seems to take over your life; keeping the family safe from fire, keeping them happy, answering the telephone when it rings in case it is a reward....

Need for Speed: Carbon (PS2)

The ultimate sequel to NFS Most Wanted. Altough the cop chases aren't really as good, the graphics are better and you get more choice, (more cars to buy). The canyon is a great idea, but not to sure about having to always drive at night. But, if you played NFS Most Wanted and loved or even liked it, you have to buy this, because, as i said before, the ultimate sequel!

Medal Of Honor: Heroes 2 (PSP)

This game will keep you busy for hours to try and complate it. Its a great game to play. Theres nothing like getting killed, trying again and shooting the hell out of the nazi soldier for revenge. Pistols, Grenades, snipers, AK47, machine gun, Thompson, loads to choose from.

The only bad things are it only takes a few hours to complete and some times the soldiers freeze and dont move which forces you to carry as a lone soldier. They catch up later on. It didnt really effect me so it isnt a major thing to worry about.

Great game to play, great shooter. Must buy.

FIFA Street 3 (Xbox 360)

this game is so rigged and fixed to the max. when ever you need to score one more goal in the later stages of the game, it knocks you blatant. i needed to win by three clear goals and when i go two goals up even with a game breaker it will not let me score. i have tried for hours and it just keeps knocking me. i will end up smashing some thing. i dont mind losing fairly but this is a joke beyond a joke.

Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth II - The Rise of the Witch-King Expansion Pack (PC DVD)

My god! I thought Battle for Middle Earth II was bad, but it was sheer brilliance compared to this! The first thing I noticed was how the witch king doesn't sound remotley like the one from the film & now the characters are more like something from a poor RTS clone of Warcraft.
In the end, I just couldn't stand to play it. I was in love with the first game, but EA just proved that they're sole motivation here was a quick cash grab.
Avoid like the plague!

My god! I thought Battle for Middle Earth II was bad, but it was sheer brilliance compared to this! The first thing I noticed was how the witch king doesn't sound remotley like the one from the film & now the characters are more like something from a poor RTS clone of Warcraft.
In the end, I just couldn't stand to play it. I was in love with the first game, but EA just proved that they're sole motivation here was a quick cash grab.

Need For Speed Underground 2 (PS2)

Need for Speed 2 is the best racing game ever! Because I have to option to set the game to my level - Easy. This is useful as I can progress through the game even though I do not have alot of time to play it. The graphics are excellent there is a solid feel about the game's environment which is reinforced with sound effects. The city is beautiful and I love free roaming, finding hidden races and bank money that is left around the city. This story is simple and adds interest to the game. I have played this game over and over, ever since it was first released. I have also played the other NFS games but for me this one is the best.

The Sims 2: Castaway (PS2)

For a start i will say i love this game.The moment i started playing i loved it.

It is easier if you have more sims.I started with one sim and then discoverd that everyone said it was easier with more so i am starting again.

TIPS;

FOOD
*coconuts are a great thing to have as a basic(so are bannanes)
*when fishing with a rod wait for the bait to come in for more chance of catching a fish.
*harvest all edible food possible.
LEAVES AND WOOD AND STUFF
*harvest all you can when still in good mood.
*some non edible stuff is good for making.
*some things can only be found in one place or beach/island
FIRE
*cook alot of what you eat and it will put up your skill.

SimCity Societies (PC DVD)

Why I think SCS is good:
- The graphics have been improved significantly since SC4; the detail is much higher, overall visuals seem more dynamic.
- Um...that's it

Why I think SCS is bad:
- Because they've made it fully 3D, you can't zoom out that much, and you can't pan much vertically either, making gameplay feel restrictive. The new viewing technique means that you can no longer build cities any where near as big as you could in SC4, and if you could it would take days. Populations of big cities is no longer in the millions, it's in the hundreds.
- The entire interface is patronising and goofy; every building has ridiculous icons hovering above them, and they secrete strange glowing trails from the roofs (I still don't know why)

Skate (PS3)

The control system for this game makes absolutely no sense. Half the time it doesn't perform the 'flickit' tricks anyway. After a couple of the most infuriating hours of my life trying to get to grips with this control system I have given up.

I'm sure some of the other features are great but i'm not going to get to use these because the control system is unfathomable and infuriating. I won't even trade this in as some poor other person who has heard the ridiculous hype might waste money on it!

I would recommend spending the time you would have to invest actually learning to skateboard!
