From the blurb on EA's site, I wasn't expecting great things from this expansion. It sounded as though you just get a new building type, but there's much more to it than that.
Sure, a large element is the apartments, but even those are better than I anticipated. If you've ever been stuck with a homeless family with low funds, or if your single guy is friendless, apartments provide the perfect solution. If your sim feels lonely, they only have to go and tap on someone's door (at a reasonable hour), and some apartments cost less than 1k a week.
There's also a hint of magic in the air, but I suspect that it takes more than the hour that I played to find that

Burnout Paradise takes all the best elements of the previous Burnout titles and makes one of the best free roaming, car crashing racers availiable today!
You compete in any event of your choice by pulling up to any set of traffic lights and peeling out to begin a race. There are several racing types which are great fun but can get a little tiresome after a while in single player. Online is definately the best way to enjoy Paradise City whether with friends or total strangers!
The game is daunting to begin with, especially with all the possible routes to take. But once you get the hang of the city, it becomes a whole new experience and one you'll find tricky to put down.
I personally would recommend this to ... Read More:

EA understand one thing and one thing only. Their bottom line profit. Remove their profit and they will have to cave in.
Their moronic copy protection schemes have GOT to stop and they are NOT listening. I do not in anyway promote/endorse piracy (and I can honestly say I own 100% of all my software), but I hope that it becomes one of the biggest bit-torrents around (which will have no copy protection by the way...)
DO NOT BUY THIS GAME until EA remove ALL copy protection schemes from ALL of their games.
EA, you continue to lose the plot and alienate your PAYING customers. Get a grip, patch all of your DRM infected games and sort out this mess once and for all.

I played the first Mercenaries on the PlayStation 2, and it was a fantastic game. The sequel is more of the same, just bigger and better.
You play a mercenary out for revenge whilst also trying to make a tidy profit(I won't spoil the plot, but trust me there isn't much of it). You take on various missions for different factions as well as various challenges usually involving a race against time. You need to keep all the factions happy as best you can in order to be able to buy better weapons, vehicles and airstrikes.
The scale of destruction is what sets Mercenaries apart from similar games, such as GTA. You can call in airstrikes ranging from bombing runs to nuclear missiles and the explosions are nothing short of spectacular. ... Read More:

First of all, I've played both "Spore" for PC, and "Spore Creatures" for DS. Spore Creatures wins hands down. Without even taking into account the whole DRM thing, this is much more enjoyable.
It plays similar to any RPG - complete goals, retain health, improve yourself through collecting and improving - but has quite a nice story to go with it, your creature's friend has been kidnapped by an alien and you need to find him. The animations are pretty cute, there are buyable cheats through game points, and it's generally good, clean fun. Anyone from the age of 8 should get on with this just fine, although the fighting isn't explained very well to begin with.
The playtime is also fairly long as well, I've spent more time on this than Spore for PC and ... Read More:

I bought the DS version and was instantly addicted and when I received a Wii for christmas i bought it for the wii as well.
I thought it was addictive on the DS but its 10 times more addictive on the Wii, so much to do and you get to build stuff and really make the town come back to life with new charectors in the hotel everyday.
The only problem was that it ended. Cant they create a never ending My Sims?
Highly recommended for all Sims fans at all ages :)
