This is exactly like playing a board game, only more fun as it is enhanced by nice graphics. I have only had a go at it against the computer, but I imagine it should be much more fun if there are 4 friends with GBA that play against each other. Once you figure it out it certainly becomes adictive. Easy way to pass the time, especially if you are not into the more complicated action/killing games. Of course there is the waiting you have to go through until your turn comes, but that's how board games are - you have to wait for your turn. However, this game is not boring because it is fun to watch what is happening to the opponents and mini games often occur on somebody else's turn that involve all the other players as well. So you end up interacting ... Read More:

Few handheld games let you play as one of three characters. This does and does badly!
Platform games on the GBA are ten a penny so they need to be outstanding to keep you interested. Castlevania is far better than this.
To highlight the main faults to this game I'd start by saying the controls are un-responsive, the graphics similar to Gameboy Colour and the gameplay repetitive.

This was one of the first games I bought for the GameCube and I am very impressed with it.
Basically it's a sort of backwards Tetris.
The idea of the game is to create rows of blocks so that you can escape the 'pit' that you get dropped into.
In the main game you have to battle against an opponent to see who reaches the top first. You also have to get out of the pit before the water in the bottom rises too high.
The best game mode I've played so far would have to be the 'Bomb Mode'. In this you and your opponent start with a tall tower and you must be the first to use bombs to blow up your opponents tower.
There are loads of different modes to choose from and also quite a few hidden characters to ... Read More:
This was the first game I bought when I got my Gameboy, and since getting it about a year ago I have reached world 12, level 8. Each of the worlds has any number of levels ranging from about 3 to 8, and I think there are 13 worlds. Each world is different, you start off in a forest, you later go underground, in a castle, by a lake, etc. There are different types of enemies, eg goblins that can't harm you when they sit down but are dangerous standing up, and classics from the cartoon such as Daffy Duck, and the hunter whose name I don't know, as well as the big, red, furry, no-armed monsters. Although this is great fun to play on school trip coach journeys, you can't really play this for very long at a time, as each level is basically the same as the ... Read More:

Quite simply, this game is awful. Wanna know why? How long have you got? Actually, it wont take that long for me to describe, all I need to say is "The mini games are crap." and thats about all there is for me to say about it. There's nothing else bad about the game, but only because the mini games are all there is to the game. Avoid, under all circumstances.

Daikatana is a FPS based over different time zones including ancient Greece and L.A. of the future. Unlike some FPS' Daikatana features puzzles as well as plenty of shooting action with a variety of weapons. Fans of Half-Life and Castlevania will love it! Absoloutley ace!

This is a great title. It's absorbing and intelligent without being boring. Increasing you army strength then smashing the enemy give you a great buzz!
