This game, like many, has both positive and negative aspects. Once again the subtle combat system is both fun and a challenge - those who claim it is mere button-mashing are missing the finer points of combat, and should look again at how they play. Yes, this method will get you by, but to become a great fighter you have to master the art of blocking, dodging and grappling, as well as hitting your opponents in the face with a baseball bat. The sheer range of characters will mean there is a fighter to suit anyone, from the pace of Sonic to the awkwardness of Olimar and Game and Watch, though yet again the Nintendo mascots Mario and Luigi are grossly overpowered. Wii Fit (Wii)

This is a fantastic games idea that is really let down by the fact that it uses BMI to work out what fitness level you are at. This is not accurate on Children and it promptly told my 10 year old daughter that she was obese!! - Not the type of message that young impressionable girls (and boys for that matter) should be getting. (Just for the record, my daughter isn't even slightly overweight for her height)

It is a real shame that it has no way of changing the phrasing for people under a certain age, as after all the whole point of this game is to encourage people who need it to exercise. In my opinion it spoils what could be a fantastic game.

Nintendo Wii Console (Includes Wii Sports)

Let's compare the Wii to games on other next gen consoles first. Now don't get me wrong, GTA-SA (not seen GTA 4 yet), the Halo and Half Life series, to name but a few, are some of the finest games ever made. But you can't have a QUICK game of any of them because each stage of the campaign might take up to an hour to complete. Playing them requires a dogged mindset, which can feel like having to tackle a sinkful of dishes when you only want a clean cup for a quick brew. A lot of modern games have the depth, complexity and epic scope of Wagner's Ring Cycle, but there are times when all you want is a three-minute pop song. You get the picture. The Wii fills this forgotten gap in the market admirably.

Nintendo Wii Nunchuk Controller add-on (Wii)

Although there are games where you don't require the Nunchuck it is always handy to have one or your gameplay will be limited. Easy to add on to your controller and allows you to play a whole range of games.

great game, the daily training is fun, brain age check is hilarious especially after working a nightshift, think i might be obsessed with playing it daily though.

this game motivates you, makes doing tasks fun and if your friends have it makes for funny conversation.

this game wont make you smarter, it will make you think faster.

One of the best games for wii that I've bought. Features 9 different games to help you practice your wii remote skills. Shooting Range, Find Mii, Table Tennis, Pose Mii, Laser Hockey, Billiards, Fishing, Charge and Tanks. Highly reccomended!

Mario Kart (Wii)

Having played Mario Kart games for nearly 15 years from the early days of the never beaten SNES version, I had hoped for an improvement on more recent versions of the game, Mario Kart DS excepted.

Graphically and gameplay wise this is not much of a step up from the much maligned double dash on the cube. However the tracks are a little better developed with many secrets to dicover that rewards continuous play.The move to 12 racers is inspired and gives the races a frantic feel not seen since the original SNES version.

The control methods are varied enough to suit everyones tastes. The wheel is a nice idea, if a little gimmicky, that is a little unresponsive and particularly difficult to use on some of th more advanced tracks. I found ... Read More:

You only get one wiimote in the standard kit wii console and while this is a fantastic controller hence why I have given it 5 stars for fun I think it is over priced as unlike other consoles there is no 'after market' 3rd part alternatives that are cheaper.

I would welcome a reduction in the price by nintendo to make the additional wiimotes more accessible for more people. Your looking at the best part of £150 to get 3 more wiimotes and nunchucks required for 4 player mode. I have got 4 and it really does make play more fun and allow more people to join in.

Nintendo DS Lite Handheld Console (Pink)

I have never been a video game player, even though my younger brother had every video game console from the Sega Mega Drive, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Atari Lynxx, GameBoy, Play Station and many others etc etc etc... plus every game you can imagine. I tried Sonic the Hedgehog and after about three minutes of pure frustration with some stupid control pad with too many coloured buttons on, I left never to return.

So when he showed me his latest purchase of a DS Lite I edged away cautiously, until I saw the Brain Training in play, within minutes I had gone online and bought my own and have never looked back since. I have now become a total addict, that was last November. It's just such great fun and it travels everywhere with me with my ever growing collection ... Read More:

Cooking Guide (Nintendo DS)

This is a really fun gadget to have if your really into your cooking AND playing on the DS.

Annoying thing about it is that the mic is MEGA sensitive, so while you are preparing your recipe, every sound might trigger the mascot chef guy to say, "pardon?", "sorry?" and sometimes he might recognise it as "continue" or "Repeat" and the steps will get a bit messed up.....

PLUS I wish that their were more recipes ... or at least an upgrade for more ... oh well, cant have everything!

All in all ... a defo buy if you like a bit of somthing different in your cooking --- i recommend the chinese beef stir fry ITS AWSOME!!!
